The only ones that would be capable of killing WoW would probably be Blizzard themselves.

It's a pretty fun game, not a WoW killer but it will take alot of people away from WoW. Was pretty close myself to stopping WoW and picking this up, but in the end it didn't do enough for me and there are too many games coming out this year I want to play.

If anyone wanted a shot at wow, they'd need a mmo dragon age 2 combined with the best of skyrim, rift, DCU, Final fantasy etc (you get the picture)

WoW isnt great. It have so many flaws/balance issues (especially if you pvp, i guess if you are pver its quite okish), but its polished way better than other mmo games. 6(?) years of development did the thing. Not to mention social bounds, communiities, guilds etc.

Rift will steal a bit of WoW base for sure, some will come back, some wont. Lets hope that Rift getting one million subscribers at launch day will at least motivate Blizzard to faster/better reactions at flaws/bugs/bullshits.

EDIT: Still want to buy gamecard, 15-16k gold for one!
