yes a new game and its going back to its roots (well where the first game started atleast)
so far the game is great the AI seems to be better at what it does fighting wise
apperently you can do the campaign map as multiplayer aswell (like civ games i guess) anyway it would be nice to do this some time with multiple people
also if we are im gonna go Uesagi (i think thats what they are called) but if someone else REALY REALY wants them ill go with the Date clan instead

Started playing it today, too!
Doing the campaign as the tutorial guys -- the archer specialists.
Not played Total War properly since Rome, so lots of new things that I have no idea about (and I never played Shogun 1, either).
I seem to have run short on food already. You can't make your towns into Forts (or whatever it is) until you get the +3 and +4 farms...
Very good so far tho'. Feels a lot like Rome. Shame I don't know all of the Japanese history tho'.

the mp campaign is 2coop or 1vs1, and well, you rly dont want more people, its really slow paced. Fun tho if you got a friend who's equally patient!
awesume game tho, its rly everything i've been missing since empire and that faggy gunpowder period

Upgrading Forts and Markets uses 1 Food Supply - which can be tracked at Clan Management. Basicly i'm just upgrading my capital to the highest level and keeping the others in 3 ( and if it's in a hot zone 4 for secondary training building. )
Also I think it's wiser to search Way of Chi instead of Bushdio to get max farm level. Sure that you have to search some Bushdio art to get proper military force.
I loved the game so far but there are a lot of combat in campagin map so it's hard to defend your soil, I don't know how they manage to pay all that recruitment and upkeep...

Might have to use diplomacy and stuff... so you don't need such a big army!
-
or dont pour everything in chi mastery so you need a fuck huge army of ashigaru
granted if you play oda thats fine
im saying that you should spread it out a bit i mean you need archery dojo's and naginata dojo's and monastary's to even get warrior monks so spreading things out a bit seems like a good thing to do
