Title: National Day of Sweden

The tradition of celebrating this date began 2004 at the Stockholm Olympic Stadium, in honour of the election of King Gustav Vasa in 1523, as this was considered the foundation of modern Sweden.

I just wanted to inform you guys about this very important day. This is our beatiful flag.

Actually, it's been our nationalday since 1983, just not a holiday until 2004(5?).
