Personal Info:
Ekrem Gungormus (for short Echo) , 30 , currently working as a senior system administrator (*nix) , i live in istanbul.
Spec:
Demonology / affliction. Demonology for raid buffs... and affliction is my highest personal dps spec.. (I preferably play affliction.)
Gear level is around 362.
Class:
as hit capped Demonology
Int > Mastery > Haste > Crit
Mastery buffs you soooooo much when u r in demon form ... when aoe is neccessary meta is a killer. rest is just raid buffing. I never take sta or resi talents from tree for pve. rotation: coe, immolate, doom, corruption, hand of guldan... incinerate... repeat
as hit capped Affliction
Int > Haste > Crit > Mastery
Haste = more ticks FTW. spell rot: COE,Haunt, Agony (doom if single target no soul swap) , corruption, unstable aff , shadow bolt (at 25% Drain Soul ) i use demon soul depending on the situation, thou you have to renew banes to get the demon soul/ trinket buff rest gets the buffs themselves. Fel Fire is a waste of dps imho unless i have to move a lot (to keep unstable up all the time rest is instant cast except haunt anyway) ...
(Demon Soul is on my Haunt/Hand of Guldan Macro bind with shift.)
Alts:
Odoriferous 85 Dunemaul - Discipline (@ WOTLK) Havent raided with her for a while now... i think i m a bit rusted with healing. I think if i can go over talents and spells again and practice a little i can remember well.
Note: I think healing performance depends on knowing the fight and raids playing style, for me i have to learn why and how much raid/tanks recieves damage.
Rospik 81 Auchindoun - Prot
Professions:
Chaosecho - Enchanter / Tailor - I have loads of rare stuff from TBC, for example i farmed for like 6 hours for shadow res enchant @netherstorm
Odoriferous - Herbalist / Alchemist
Rospik - Miner / Blacksmith
Raid Experience:
TBC Killed all except swp. I started playing at Mid TBC, I ve raided ulduar with warlock made some kill the 1st day. I was raiding with priest at wotlk , our guild never tried LK so i left the place since i was ready for wipes and tries for it. i started playing with warlock again at cata i stopped for a while since my guild wasnt raiding enough, iv ve entered BWD 3 and BOT 2 times killed some bosses.
Currently iknow Beth,Baleroc,Majordomo and Alysrazor fights @ Firelands
Previous Guilds:
Prodigy - My first guild played a long time at there, killed Lady Vashj, kaelthas with guildies. Good old times. GM disbanded the guild for personal reasons and transferred.
The Tempted - Hardcore raiding guild at Auchindoun. We were raiding 3 - 4 hours a night after 24h raiding a guild killed algalon disbanded.
Also i farmed Naxx with Immune.
Availability:
I am avaible most of the nights .
Communication:
Yes i have no problem with English , i can listen and understand very well and i can speak when needed . I enjoy discussing about the classes that i play.
Computer / Connection:
amd phenom x2 555 with 8gbs of ram , 1gb ati radeon 4850, game runs on a SSD disk (very short load time when changing zones/getting in/ getting out). Game runs at 45 fps at 25 man raids. 8 mbits adsl. my lag is around 180ms. Got a new Thermaltake Frio CPU cooler XD 35 Degrees CPU temp during raid :D
Addons/UI:
Elv UI. DBM, Power auras, (helps me see procs easier ), ora3 , MSBT (Nice combat text but cpu intensive.)
Other Games:
I am getting ready for swtor ... Gonna play sith
Why Iron Edge?
for a Stable, mature,serious pve and pvp raiding environment.
What can I offer Iron Edge?
Well i believe i m a good player, i never make same mistake twice, plus i m willing to learn a lot so i think i can offer serious dps dfepending on my gear, well i can joke as well if i try hard. And i cook ! :P

I'm checking your gear and you seems to be in PvP gear.
I remember some of your gear when i was checking this apply and i didn't like what i saw.
Gear is way behind our current progress and i don't think you know what are you doing with your gemming,reforging and enchants.
Mastery<Haste on gloves(unless you are Demo)
40 hit gems should never be in your gear even if you are missing hit.
You are reforging some hit to haste and than again gemming for hit(loosing a lot of intelect here).
Now these are the things that i remember i saw on your gear 2 days ago but i didn't find time to make a comment until now.
Please log out in your PvE gear so i can check it one more time but i don't think it will help much for now.

Yea my gear level is a bit behind ; i know that. Currently i m on pve gear and i reforged and gemmed according to what i wrote on my application.
I have mastery on gloves on since i already got 2 extra ticks from corruption (raid buffed) and i m far away from getting extra ticks.
and I have ho hit gems on my pvp gear... also i added a hit gem reforged one hit to haste to get exact (possible closest) hit cap.
I ll get new chest on next reset. Valor capped this week. :)

why dont u buy that staff that drops from trash it is huge upgrade u can get and it isnt much expensive

I can get it no problem... but if you were me would you buy such item when you are not raiding?

everything needs to be best in slot if want to join some guild that is raiding hardcore and 12-15k isnt rly much at all

dont get me wrong, we dont ask for full firelands gear to join, but there is some minimum gear u need to obtain by yourself

of course i agree with you and i m putting an effort on it trust me like; i m capping valor points everyweek... i have 2100 vp this and cant get anymore so next reset i ll be getting chest and wand together...
When comes to farming bwd, BOT its hard to find proper group. Also i m puging BH my own most of the time (i seriously dislike pugging...)

OK i see you now in PvE gear so i will go trough your gear again.
Gemming:
2x40 hit gem in your gear is just wrong like i said in my previous post(you should use 20int/20hit in worst case)
1x40 haste gem - same like with pure hit gems, you shouldn't use this(20int/20haste if you must use orange/yellow gem for socket bonus)
1x 20mastery/20 hit - this shouldn't be in your gem slots ever
1x 20haste/20hit - this shouldn't be in your gem slots ever
Enchanting:
Bracers - you should have Mighty Intelect there instead of Precision
Hands - you should have Haste there instead of Greater Mastery (even if you are reaching that extra tick haste is still better)
Feet - you should have Lavawalker instead of Precision (Minor speed is a must in on most of the fights)
Reforging:
Head - you should reforge your critical to haste
Neck - you should reforge mastery to hit
Shoulders - you should reforge critical to haste
Back - is OK
Chest - you should reforge critical to hit
Bracer - is OK
Weapon - is OK
Offhand - is OK
Wand - you should reforge mastery to hit
Hands - are OK
Waist - you should reforge critical to hit
Ring No1. - you should reforge critical to hit
Ring No2. - you should reforge critical to haste
Trinkets are fine.
In case you have more than enough hit after all this its simple reforge some hit to haste.
To sum it:
There is only 3 types of gems you should have in your gear:
Red: [Brilliant Inferno Ruby]- 40 Intelect gem
Yellow: [Reckless Ember Topaz] - 20Int/20hit
Blue: [Veiled Demonseye] - 20Int/20hit
As for reforging you should always fallow simple rule in most of the cases.
Are you hit capped?
Yes: Reforge any extra hit to haste where possible.
No: Reforge mastery first then critical to hit.
Does it have haste on it?
Yes: Go to the next rule.
No: Reforge mastery first then critical to haste, leave hit as it is.
Reforge mastery to critical if the above has been done.
Now try to read this and fix this stuff if anything I'm sure it will help you with your personal dps and gearing.
I'm sorry but i cant let you in a raid like this, you will need to improve your gear with some more preraid items.
It has been 6 weeks since firelands was released (i think), so you should have 2 set bonus until now + wand and ring.
I wont close this application i will simply give you more time to gear up and post here in a few days if you improve your gear.

I was planning to update this post tomorrow after getting my new chest but couldnt help myself :).
I bought Volcanospike and reforged/regemmed everything.
If I can cap honor next week i ll add wand to my update list aswell but i m getting the chest for sure.

I upgraded my gear if you can check i really would apperciate it... i was able to pull some nice DPS after regemming and reforging everything which i linked to Pluug,"/me hopes he liked it; *crosses fingers*".

Yea we do talk ingame occasionally and you improved a lot of things, i will try to fit you in in some of our raids, if not tomorrow than probably on Monday.

No better demonstration of your raider skills than to try a boss you've not done very much. Go read up on Alysrazor, we're doing that tonight (on heroic.)
