Title: [25 Man Casual Raid] Priest (Tank) - Loadead
Post by: Applicant on August 23, 2013, 01:15:54 am
Hello, Iron Edge!

Character: Loadead
Armory: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/Kazzak/Loadead/advanced
Class/Spec: Priest (Tank)
Raid: 25 Man Casual Raid

Personal Info:

'Ello, MAH name is Nikola, I am 21 years old (shit's got real), student - 3rd year. I am from Lolgaria (read: Bulgaria). I already forgot what should be written in this box, but I have three red-eared slider turtles... I like turtles in general.

Spec:

I play all specs, but Shadow is still what I would call my Offspec, as I have not gotten used to the spell prioritization and am not optimally using it. I prefer to be a Healer in the end of the day as I have been on the job since 2005.

Class:

That is so hard these days, really, I was thinking of coming up with my own stuff as I have usually done, but then I saw Haste for Shadow, Crit for Discipline and Spirit/Haste for Holy and figured that there is not much that can be said about stat priorities these days.
In terms of rotation/spell prio, I love spamming Smite and Rolling my DoTs, if you know what I mean.

Alts:

None at the moment, I have the original account this character was on Frozen and if I start playing actively during the Fall semester I will most likely activate it and add a Druid, Death Knight, Mage and Shaman to my personal roster.

Professions:

Mining/Herb, the person who took care of this fella dropped my Enchanting/Engineering with all the rare formulas/schemes - life sucks. (Blizzard did not restore them)

Raid Experience:

PvP (keepin' this short for reasons you're about to witness, I'm the Druid/Priest):
Season 1 - 2100 (2s) Warrior/Holy Priest
Season 2 - 2100 (2s) Lock/Priest, Hunter/Priest;
2200 (3s) Warrior/Mage/Priest
Season 3 - 2200 (2s) Lock/Priest, 2100 Rogue/Priest, 2200 Warrior/Balance Druid
2150 (3s) Lock/Rogue/Priest
Season 4 - 2200 (2s) many setups on both characters
2150 (5s) Warrior/Ele Shaman/Mage/Paladin/Priest
Season 5 - 2100 (2s) Ret/Priest, Rogue/Priest
Season 6 - 2600 (3s) Rogue/Ret/Priest
2400ish (5s) Rogue/DK/Ret/Druid/Priest
Season 7 - 2300 (2s) Druid/Priest
Season 8 - 2500 (2s) Mage/Priest, Rogue/Priest
2700 (3s) RMP, Disc/Ele/Mage
Top 10 Arena Pass as RMP
Season 9 - 2800 (3s) RMP, FMP
Season 10 - 2500ish (5s) Warrior/Rogue/Mage/Paladin/Priest
Season 11 - 2500ish (3s) Druid/Hunter/Priest, or as I like to call it 'the wasted Gladiator', as we never bothered pushing into safe Glad.
Season 12 - WUT?
Season 13 - Nope.

Raiding:
Vanilla - started playing late - Onyxia, MC, AQ20, ZG, BWL
TBC - Karazhan, ZA, TK, SSC, BT (think I have raided BT on 4 characters total, aye)
WotLK - everything except LK HC, because I was guildless and most of my other experience is result of PuGs (which I lead, usually), including Yogg+0 (25), almost successful Immortality (TOGC 25), plenty of tough achievements, etc.
Cata - Was busy with school/uni stuff (do not get me wrong, that does not stop me from playing, but I had to be in another city :( ), but I got summoned into the later stages by a guild and did some Firelands HC, cleared Dragon Soul HC
MoP - I started playing 2 months ago (had only done some RBGs in s12 on a friend's acc), and cleared 8/13 HC ToT on a friend's priest (which I can log for proof), also did 9/9 CM Gold in 7 hours total spent (no boost)

Previous Guilds:

There's simply no way.

Worth mentioning:
Bulgarian League - 1st guild on retail.
Firelords - 2007 - till now, always been part of my WoW life, regardless where I raid and PvP.
HUGZ - the guild where I was chilling while PuGing.
I like toast - peeps who dragged me though FL HC in leveling gear because they believed in me, good bunch.
Iron Edge - the guild that I will join

Availability:

Totally random, university does not put a tight schedule on me, so usually I can be ONLIFELINE 24/7.

Communication:

Yes, I also like to spam a lot by talking useless crap, but when it comes to explaining tactics I might as well go over every single person's role and job on the encounter.

Computer / Connection:

My PC is not really that good, but it is on a level where it causes no trouble; the connection might be the tricky part - depends how the managers of the university network do their job this semester as I am living on campus and cannot have an external ISP there.

Addons/UI:

No addons, YOLO.

BigWigs.

Other Games:

StarCraft2, Counter-Strike 1.6 (rarely), League of Legends (very rarely, stopped playing because I cannot bear the low IQ faggots that are overwhelming there)

Why Iron Edge?

'Cuz Therash would not boost me through ToT otherwise.

What can I offer Iron Edge?

My body.

Where did I hear about Iron Edge??

One of these sites that you browse with Private Browsing turned on, provided that you're a Firefox user.

Last Words?

Ain't nobody got time for that.

Pretty low gear and experience this expansion.

Need to replace those professions, is that something you are planning?

Hah nice application.

The PvPers and myself have been spending a lot of time with Loadead, and he definitely knows his shit. If you are going to do the homework (optimizing char for raiding, professions), you have my blessing.

Also, as a guild we use DBM, makes it easier for raidwide announcements etc, so make sure you have that installed and ready when we start raiding.

I apologize for the late reply, but I would like to 'redirect' my application, and apply for the PvP team instead.

I am still interested in raiding casually, but as being a backup player for the raiding squad instead of a raider with 100% attendance (that I would otherwise be).

Provided any explanation is needed; long story short: While I was still wondering whether it is right to apply to IE, I had an offer from real life friends to join them on a quest for fast SoO clear on Heroic (the aim being Realm First, good world ranking on the 10 man ladder). And my decision is to join them at least until we clear the content.

If all of the above is acceptable for the Officers/people managing the guild, then I am still willing to join and be part of it. No, I am not rerolling, I will simply have a PvE alt which I will dedicate some time to for a few weeks.

Unfortunately we don't allow alts as main characters in the guild, because we want _people_ to join our guild, not just characters.

You're more than welcome when you're done with your off-realm adventure though :)
