Class/Spec: Hunter (DPS)
Raid: 25 Man Casual Raid
Personal Info:
My name is Eli(age 21), I'm from Faroe Islands, at the moment I'm not doing anything, but I will start working again soon.
Spec:
Playing Beast Mastery as main. Survival as off-specc, I would say my experience is equale with all of my spec's since I've been playing since TBC and tried them all, Yes I know much has changed since then but I enjoy learning the new stuff about the aspect of my class when changes happens.
Class:
At the moment hunter go for ( 7.5% hit - 7.5% exp - agility - crit - haste - mastery)
This goes for all spec's.
Other things I do the keep up to dated is Simulationscraft, I like to watch what other Hunter's do and try different stuff, I also use this site called Femaledwarf.com which is a great site for hunters. But trying different stuff looking at other hunters what they are doing etc outside raids and finding out whats works best for my Gear at the moment is one thing I enjoy the most about this game beside raiding of course.
Alts:
I've got all classes at lvl 90 atm, but I've just lvled them not geared them but I'm willing to gear some class up if needed.
Professions:
I got Leatherworking for the bracer enchant (500agi) + cheap leg enchant. and I got Blacksmithing for the two extra sockets in hand and bracers.
Raid Experience:
If I'm not completely wrong I think I've clear most of all content when it was current or almost. From TBC to Throne of Thunder. Cant say the same about pvp, I've played at 1600 rating in RBG, and 2000 rating in 3s(Arena)
Previous Guilds:
My last guild was Divine Supremacy on Draenor where I was an officer, but sadly we fell apart recently, and thats the reason I'm looking for a new guild.
Availability:
As I said I'm not working atm so everyday suits me, but when I get my work my work hours wont affect the raiding days.
Communication:
My english is average I would say. Yes I got teamspeak + mic(can listen and talk if needed)
Computer / Connection:
I would say my pc is quite good(Dell XPS 8100) my connection could be better and that will change soon enough, but I dont dc or anything like that.
Addons/UI:
DBM(obvious reasons)
Tellmewhen ( tells me when proc's happen)
classtimer ( When I use cd's)
HunterFocusBar ( Clearer vision on my Focus bar)
OmniCC ( tracks when ability's are ready again )
Quartz ( casting bar )
Recount (shows what damage I do, but I rarely play with )
I dont use alot of addons I like a clean screen so I can put the best performance possible.

Why Iron Edge?
I want to go back to the casual scene, and what better place to then IE, where familiar faces are, also the raiding hours fit me fine, when I start working again.
What can I offer Iron Edge?
I can bring an experienced and dedicated raider that has played since the start of TBC, an easy going chill guy, who is always willing to lend an helping hand in what so ever you need him for. Also an really competetive guy.
Where did I hear about Iron Edge??
I know quite a few in IE from the last time I was here.

Thank you for the decent and detailed info u had shared with us. Would love to recruit you but i am not sure that we have a space in the raid squad for one more hunter as we are full on ranged dps. I would love to hear from Narcotics and some words from the officers though.

It's almost funny that you and Bowflex decide to return within a matter of weeks.
Xenoth its strange to me that you dont mention your massive history with our raid.
You have left us several time and last time you said that you didnt enjoy 25man raiding and that you wanted 10man.
What has changed since you want 25man now?
What has changed that means you wont leave us again as you usually do?

It doesn't.
First of all, nice application. I think Eksenoth is a very nice guy and I think he's definitely worth having in the guild, as a social or as a raider. But since he's applying as a raider, I think his DPS will also be nice competition for the other hunters.
I will say that I was a little disappointed when you decided against helping us when Dunemaul fell apart, and migrated to Draenor during our time of crisis. Especially since you ended up in a multinational guild anyway. I sincerely hope that you'll be the same loyal and friendly guy in the guild, as you've always been in our community.
So unless anyone wants to share something that we don't already know, I'm okay with Xenoth re-joining the guild.

I have a soft spot for xenoth but we are quite full when it comes to hunters, I wouldn't want to see them pushed out of the way. I'd like to see him in the guild but not quite sure what to suggest when it comes to our current roster.

Gaeios I'm pretty sure you are thinking of someone else. I joined in the BwD BoT times when IE started progressing HC and stayed to when MoP came out and i've only been in The Legacy/Divine Supremacy(same guild) since.
But I do agree it wasn't my best moment leaving the guild, but hey all do mistakes.

I guess my memory might be clouded in the sense that I confuse leaving the raid and the guild.
You were the one that was tired of carrying people in 25man. You were the one that considered comin back when we were almost disbanding but chose a third guild instead.
I just dont like to make an exception to having stopped recruiting ranged for a guy that hasnt shown loyalty to the raid.

We have many on standby already... adding another won't be good for anyone, i wouldn't want anyone to feel left out.
That's my 2 cents on all this :)

Safire if this was a social application he would be accepted np. Xenoth is a nice guy and a good player. But with the current state of the roster I dont want to put people on standby for a player that I dont know if we can rely on.

Yeah I guess, and you are still that douche that will leave again when you get gear, and join a better guild since you use guilds as stepping stones, you used Rigor Mortis to join Ravenous and from there to Iron edge, and when IE had a bad run you stopped raiding and left the server, and calling me a guild jumper is as stupid as you really are. but ill stop posting since you will win in the end.

Maybe we should host a "who will stay in the guild longest" competition between you two and since you're both so fucking stubborn neither of you will leave forever and then secretly everyone wins :)

I cannot comment on the bad blood between people on this thread but what I can say is everything looks excellent with regards to gear, spec, and reforge.
I remember raiding with you in Firelands, I think it was, and remember a committed and knowledgeable hunter. However we are absolutely swamped with hunters, and DPS in general, so I cannot possibly see a raider spot given to you.
I have no problems with you being in the guild but just know the likelihood of being granted a raider spot is extremely low given our current situation
