Title: Mirakulix, lvl60 Druid
Post by: Mirakulix on October 31, 2006, 09:10:41 pm
ok, here we go, according to Narbols template:

Personal info:
My name is Stefan and i live in Germany. I am a 30+  ;) year old electronic engineer.

Character Information:
Skills:                                        tribal leatherworking, skinning (315)
Main profile (talents):                  http://ctprofiles.net/3195970 (http://ctprofiles.net/3195970)
Healing gear (max. +healing):       http://ctprofiles.net/301259 (http://ctprofiles.net/301259)
healing gear (max. mana regen):  http://ctprofiles.net/4339248 (http://ctprofiles.net/4339248)  probably the worst part of my char. fairly "low" regen.
Balance/heal:                             http://ctprofiles.net/4339105 (http://ctprofiles.net/4339105)  i use this set for adding dmg to raid on trash-mobs. This ads around 2%
overall dmg to the raid, while still being able to heal very well, once the
pull is effed up (keyword "hybrid"  ;D)
Tank (would need to respec):      http://ctprofiles.net/302240 (http://ctprofiles.net/302240)

Fire resistance:      ca. 190 unbuffed, but then im pretty much gimped. not much healing/balance left. Used only on Vael
Nature resistance:  ca.100  unbuffed, never had to use it, thats why i dont know exactly. Its catching dust in the bank.

Attunements: Onyxia : pwned
                    MC:       pwned
                    BWL:    pwned
AQ40:   pwned (including Cthun, excluding ouro, viscidous)

Im flexible considering my spec: currently im balance/resto, but dont get me wrong, i had the best mana-efficiency of all DH druids. If needed i can spec more resto, but i really dont see the benefit for this being a hybrid class. I also have some decent (not imba, but still very good imo) tanking gear, which i can use if i respec feral. Tho i didnt have the chance to tank in DH, so i would have to have a bit of "training" before i would try to do serious stuff in naxx. I have DPS gear as well, but i think thats the least useful i could be to IE, assuming you have enough proper melee dps (warriors, rogues)

Gaming history: played Diablo I, D2, now wow since it came out in germany (almost 2 y i guess)

Raids: so far i havent found any topic about raid-schedule, attendance required for every member. What i can tell is that -according to my job- i wont be the most active player. 4 raids a week should be doable (in DH i did 5+, but realized i lost a lot of real life. So i want to scale down a bit here. Rarely itll happen that -although i announce to attend a day- i cant raid, because of working overtime, having unannounced meetings n stuff. So this wont be much of a problem i guess. In general im always 100% focused when i attend. Im no slacker and no AFKer. I can raid from 20:00 gmt+1 to 24:00 max when i raid during the week (but would prefer to end somewhere between 23 and 23:30. On weekends i have more time usually.

why do i want to join IE/what can i offer:
From lvl44 to lvl 60 i was already in IE. Then i joined DH for one year, before we disbanded last week. Contrary to Narbol i never failed as a druid. In fact i quite often made priests blush when we compared our healing skills.I left IE because i didnt feel to be a part of the guild, didnt feel being integrated. I hope this time itll work out better. At least ill do my best. While being in DH i was always looking towards IE, talking to Ur, checking the progress/overall status of the guild. So far i have heared a lot of good things about IE in its current state (being focused and being a real team. Thats exactly what im looking for, a TEAM. Playing a "supporting" class pretty much tells that in itself imo. Im looking for progress o.c., in order to see more of the game and have new challenges. .

Last words:
If i put myself unclear anywhere or if another point of discussion came up, feel free to contact me

Couldn't be arsed to read half of it, but I would like you back (dispite it being ages since you left). Kindda like to see that you're not a typical restobot with Swiftmend, even though I have no word on what you will be required to spec if/when you join.

As for the feral. No. No no no. No. That is my job. Monopoly  :-* Besides, your gear might be ok-ish for it, but it is not "enough" if you want to do it fulltime really :)

Hey Mira.

Currently the druid class leader, and assistant class leader is AFK.

A very strong application, a good use of english. I like your explanation of your talents and gear.

As Endre said, I don't know about required points currently. But I am willing to see how well you play with your current spec!

Asraid leader and assistant guild leader, I will offer you a trial for our next raid.

Should be Thursday...

I look forward to being impressed :)

The talents seems ok, healers doesn't often pull agro of a tank due to healing, and if they ever do they won't live long enough to benefit Nature's focus  ;D
But what do I know, never played a healer  8)

I can vouch 110% for Mirakulix. We played together as wingmen in IL-2 sturmovik flying online combat missions in WWII aircraft. He used to be the "guild-master" of that squadrion for a long period. Afterwards we started playing WoW together and rolled on Dunemaul together with Akrep, another old friend from IL-2 days. Man, we used to tear up the skies, making the ruskies cower in fear :P  Wasn't unusual to see either of us 3 with more than 50+ missions / airkills, without getting killing or losing an airplane.

He's 100% serious, dedicated player, always trying to play to the max of his abilities, pushing the envelop to improve even more. You won't see him slacking or not giving 100%.

And impressive, detailed application!
