Hello, Iron Edge!
Character: Jezzakyle
Armory: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/Kazzak/Jezzakyle/advanced
Class/Spec: Rogue (DPS)
Member Type: raider
Personal Info:
Hey, I'm Blair, 21 Scotsman (Yes, I have a kilt, no I'm not ginger and no I don't like battered Mars bars). I work offshore on the oil rigs (I'll come to this later) and have done for around 3 years (it's fun).
Class/Spec:
I can play all 3 rogue specs, but I prefer playing Combat, have played it since Wrath (Woo armor pen). Obviously played Sub quite a bit during Cata, mainly Dragon Soul, but again always preferred to play Combat.
Alts:
Have a shadow priest that I've gearing at the moment. God they suck.
Professions:
Jewel crafting and Alchemy, mainly because they're very nice earners and give me lots of bonus Agility.
Raiding Experience:
I started raiding back in late Ulduar/ Early ToC cleared both them whilst in Wrath, most of Ulduar on hardmodes and cleared ToC on heroic whilst in Wrath as well, (1 attempt away from Insanity. Mad.) I cleared Normal ICC with my guild back then, From The Ashes II and progressed ICC Heroic, got 11/12 HC and then we stopped raiding because Lich King was hard. We also killed Halion in RS on the day it was released, which I think was a European first (What a joke he was, thought we had to do normal before heroic, like every other boss http://www.wowprogress.com/guild/eu/bladefist/From+The+Ashes+II/rating.rs_25)
After FTA stopped raiding, I went my own way, and jumped about servers trying to find a guild I enjoyed raiding in, could fit my times in and were going to have the potential to progress. I xfactioned to "Sanity" who were the best guild on the server, progressed with them during Cata, clearing Everything on Normal, and a good few heroics. Mainly BwD, BoT and Tofw. After I came back from a break (Started college, had no time) I went back to FTA who had started raiding again, I raided with them in FL and cleared up to Rag on heroic. Where again we never progressed well so I lowered my play time and got disinterested due to commitments with college etc. Came back on for DS and cleared normal with them, and then progressed a few heroic kills on Morchok before they all stopped playing and left me little choice to stop aswell. Which leads me up til now.
I started playing again properly in November roughly. Since then, I've made a guild here on Kazzak with a friend, we've recruited a lot of bad players, and made me hate the game so much. We managed to clear SoO after a few weeks. Attempted to create a guild where we could raid 2 days a week, have a reliable roster and progress heroics. That failed. I've had several attempts on Immerseus, but the tanks in my guild are terrible.
Previous Guilds:
From the Ashes II - Eventually left in the end because everyone stopped playing and got bored. I found some love for the game again and continued on my own, left Bladefist with a few friends and made a guild on Kazzak.
Sanity, played with them for a while back in Cata and got bored of raiding 5 days a week, decided it wasn't for me so left on good terms, still speak to a lot of them til this day.
Unleash on Frostmane, a guild who let me raid when I could, and when I was home from work.
Availability:
This is the difficult part. As you read before, I work offshore on the oil rigs. Meaning I'm away for 2 weeks at a time, which in progression, I understand is a problem. However when I am home, I'm home for 3 weeks and have absolutely nothing to do in that time except play WoW go to the gym and drink copius amounts of alcohol and make myself ill.
Saying this, I understand that it may be difficult to be able to fit me into a raid group, so I understand if it's not possible.
Communication:
I'm Scottish, what is English? I have TS3, I have a very good set of working ears and I'm very vocal in raids when it is needed. I've raid leaded in the past and always happy to chip in.
Computer / Connection:
120mb Fibre Net.
i5 @ 4.2Ghz,
560 GTX,
8 GB DDR3 Ram.
It's fine etc.
Addons/UI:

I use ElvUI, has everything I need, CD Timers etc. Tracks all i need. Also use Extra CD cos it has a flashy thing that shows me when I'm making the deeps.
Other Games:
Dota 2, Titanfall, Cod. I'm part of a group of friends called "Bosstour" we play anything and everything and have many funs, you would all be welcome to join in.
Why Iron Edge?
You fit my needs, 2 raids a week. Obvious showing of good progression.
What can I offer Iron Edge?
A dedicated player who knows what's what and has been there and done it before. I've progressed with realm first guilds in the past and I need a new home with people who are fun. You also have some fellow Brits from the looks, which I like.
Where did I hear about Iron Edge??
Found you on WoWProgress
Last Words?
I like turtles.

Sadly we are doing 100% progression atm, so having you missing for 4 consecutive raids its pretty bad.
Also our minimum attendance for the raider rank is 75% which you would never get close to since you would probably miss some raids when you are back onshore.
You could get a social spot and then you could be a backup raider for the times you are available. But there wont be a steady raiderspot with that schedule.

I've missed 1 raid in my current guild, over the past 4(?) months of raiding, so I wouldn't miss any of the raids that I was home for.
Nevertheless, I understand what you mean, I'd feel the same in your position.
Thanks anyways.

cool offshore :D

As Gaeios said regarding a spot on the main raid. Had a chat last night though, gets my vote for a social spot. The guild is fairly lively compared to where you are by the sounds of it, so can always get a group together for things.

So... Social spot?

Sure, poke an officer
