Ive been thinking about getting a console for my collection of things i dont need, but buy.
Imo ps4 has the better exclusive titles coming out in the near future, so im tending towards that. What does everyone else have or can recommend if you have both?

A few guildies have a ps4, grish, me, chippen and shiftey. Like you say, it seems to have a better bunch of exclusive type things, and on multiplatform stuff it tends to have higher spec visuals. Also, if you haven't played The Last of Us, it's worth getting just for the remastered version of that.

That's not a mac sky, and I'd advice against getting either, bought a ps4 and haven't touched the damn thing for about 5 months, before that i only used it as a bluray player.
Incase you are wondering, i bought it for destiny.

Go buy dreamcast, all the pro gamers do that

This. If you have a PC, you don't need a PS4. Exclusives? What exclusives...?
I played Infamous:Second Son (okay) and Killzone:Shadow Fall (worst shit ever). Ta-da. That's it. Bloodborne is on the to-do-list, gonna pick that up someday.

Also, the last guardian (should it ever actually happen). re. PC or not, there are some things that despite being multiplat and despite having a ridiculous pc, sometimes I'd rather go play on the big tv on a couch, and while the new steam streaming majigger + controller is looking kinda nice, I'm not sold on it yet; but time will tell.
-
Yeah, that game is in development since 2007. I'm pretty sure it will be awesome, cause they weren't able to make it awesome during the last 8 years...
Regarding gaming on TV: Yup, I made a custom PC and put it in a small CoolerMaster Elite 130 casing. I only game in my living room on my TV, hooked up to 5.1 sound system, best investment in PC tech I ever did.
It's ~300 bucks more than a PS4 (for a full system), and I can highly recommend it to anyone.

Ive decided to waste some money on a PS4. For the great exclusives that are incoming.
Xbox only has gears that is looking nice, the rest is all mediocre imo. "high five" for 120eu controller.....
About the playing on Big screen instead of PC, i have been looking at pre ordering the steam link so you can stream your games to your tv somewhere else in the house.
They say they will support wireless Xbox One controllers, but ofc the UI nd shit is designed for the Steam Controller specificially.
If the streaming works well it would be a nice alternative, for the 65EU price point.

I'm using wireless and wired Xbox 360 controllers on my PC for years, np at all. Not using Steam Big Screen UI thou.
