Blade and Soul was released for North America and Europe recently, and we've created a guild for those who want to play at the Ebon Hall server(Europe). We have a few of the older Iron Edge members playing it, but it would be cool to play with some of you newer folks, too!
As the title says, it's a free MMO you can download at http://www.bladeandsoul.com/en/download/
Gameplay is pretty refreshing, for those who have played a couple in the years since vanilla wow happened. Classes can be found at http://www.bladeandsoul.com/en/game/classes/ with some neat basic gameplay videos for each class.
It's..very korean. Very cutesy and sexual. To a point where it gets redicilous and cheesy.
The game doesn't force you to choose a faction at the start, which means you are free to choose, and change, later on. If you do want to join the guild however, you must be a member of the Cerulean Order faction.

The game looks good and I was interested in it. Only problem is that it seems like a grindfest :(

The grind doesn't really start until max level, questing is rather enjoyable, way more than any MMO I've tried myself.
Plenty of quests and dungeons along the way, dungeons being available cross-server through F8, you get a full party for anything in less than a minute.
But sure, you'll have to grind a bit at level 45 to get bis gear. I'm level 35 now, and so far I haven't really had to grind anything.

It's a lot like TERA if people played that, it's defenitly not as grindy as i expected it to be, but then again i haven't reached max level yet, it also seems much more focussed on PvP than PvE, all in all this game should have come out 4 years ago (when it came out in korea)

I have some friends that told me it's very pvp focused end-game. No pve. Well.. Not so much.

It's being patched in two weeks, and there will be a bit more end game added.

Ah, I'm not so interested in playing this in particular, but I've really missed gaming with e-superfriends lately (I think homesickness is making me nostalgic or something!). Will try and check it out though... +9hours sure makes timing tricky. Will poke around on IRC and TS with a bit of luck and prevailing wind!
