Hello all,
Im currently writting my dissertation, its about online communities! And i would appreciate you help with collecting data, just a quick 9 questions and any comments you might have, your help is very much appriciated! :D

The main thing with regard to trust for me is that online you can very easily choose not to spend time on certain individuals. You might give them a chance, a second one even, but in the end cutting contact is a very easy thing to do.
Say you have a raider that continously nags about not getting enough raid hours a week. You can just kick said raider, mute and ignore, move on. God damn I wished there were proper ways to "mute" inviduals in real life.
I doubt there are many guilds left that are as old as Iron Edge around anymore, and you should expect some bias with regards to the survey. It's an interwoven community with meet-ups and and a wide variety of characters. If you were to ask this in a SRGPPH you'd probably see they rate online relationships lower than we do.
Just me 3 cents.

I agree with Vorte. I'd also like to add that this thread was made on the public section of the forum, so you might get a couple of surveys from people outside of IE, maybe some bots as well.
