Personal Info:

Kyle, 32 and from Uk. I don't really want to go too much into detail about my job as its very niche and therefore easy to find and i have young children. Better safe than sorry on the internet where family is concerned I feel.

Class/Spec:

My mainspec is assassination this season with an offspec into sub on the fights that require it. There's a good split this tier of fights that require either as fight profiles are very different. They do require different gear which is a pain point for sure but both are dagger's so that helps. I'm 321 ilvl currently but sat on crests and a bonus roll this week (18/9/2026)

Sin is crit/haste with a good priority on crit. Crit enables massive combo point builders which just enables a build spend build spend rotation with refreshing bleeds when you want to drop the envenom buff and pool. There's no real priority as the gameplay is energy management not cooldown management for sin.

Sub is extremely basic now. We just build and spend and never have to think much. Use a dance with shadow clone, save a dance to always have 2 for cd's. No real pooling and no dots.

Alts:

Frost dk 322(unholy also) I split my time a lot between dk and rogue as I wasn't sure what would be better and if my guild would have a rogue buff, now it's been buffed to 4.8% dr it's really mandatory.

Professions:

The only profession I do is alchemy to get 2 hour flasks

Raiding Experience:

i've basically always played dps, I peaked in BFA at world 300 on silvermoon as alliance. I played at that level for about a year before changing job and therefore changing focus.

Not too long after in shadowlands my darling daughter was born and I could only raid as a fill for my friends raid teams as I lacked the hours needed to play properly. This continued till TWW.

In manaforged omega I was part of a guild that fell victim to Nexus-king. He was a hard boss and he killed the guild for that tier. The following tier i rebuilt the guild as an officer and the guild would go on to achieve its first CE. I left them mid way into mythic progression after handling roster/loot for the difficult start because being an officer was eating way too much of my time with my kids. 3 hour raids with 3 hour officer meetings after was....lets say annoying to my wife.

MSQ/whatever else last tier was named I got CE again for the first time in years at world 1500 or so.

Previous Guilds:

Chimera - There's were some people on the roster who seemed honestly to be purposely wasting peoples time for the laughs. We added an extra raid day at the start and go no further than if we hadn't because people took the extra day as a reason to not look at guides or not get correct ilvl or enchants before raids. It felt disrespectful.

Team Solid - This is the one i was officer in and no longer wished to do the job.

can't remember whether its 20 or 30ms to kazzak but eitherway im wired and it never spikes. Never had an outage.

Addons/UI:

I'm still a DBM enjoyer even though people love bigwigs Im still loyal to my old boy.

NSRT is great these days to assist dbm and set timers etc.

I do a lot of emulation on android handhelds and I play switch 2 games with my kids.

Why Iron Edge?

As I've gotten older my gaming has become a lot more social focused, I want to play games and do well but I also want to surround myself with people I actually like. I'll play pretty much anything anytime with good people and I think these days I value my time away from my family so highly that i've really got to make the most of it. Iron Edge seems like an all round community that'll be a good fit in that regard.

What can I offer Iron Edge?

I can offer a very locked in and serious mythic raider during raid hours and an extremely chill dad and husband who wants to build castles on minecraft with his kids outside of raid hours. I think lifes about balance and I'm a balanced dude.
