Marko,

What's the name of the add-on that show your portrait/hp/mp-bar like that? I see it often and it's really nice.

Little bug going on there with the combo points, which are supposed to be in target frame. Screenie was taken when my Pitbull wasn't completely bug free though.

It's eePanels.

Also, incoming new look on my UI. Finally figured out blizzard's layout on their border texture (it's a single texture that has all parts of border held in it). I've made a template in PSD for it if anyone's interested!

anyway, off to upload to imageshack!

here's mine!

http://www.palmar.se/Trolls/lolui.jpg

Main bar is bound to: 1,2,3,4,5,°,z,q,e,r,t,f and the bar above it is bound to shift OR alt the same buttons (meaning I can position my hand on shift or alt depending on what other buttons I might be pressing at the time) The other keybound stuff is my trinket to mouse3 or 4 (can't remember) and then g,x,c,v and shift-g on the fear/mc/inner focus stuff to the right there.

Heyo - thought I'd share what I learned regarding wow border textures.

Best way is to show you the image I used to discover it, and the texture I made that's in use in the UI I posted above.

Ok, the texture is actually split into eight parts, as follows:
The red panel contains the left and right side border tiles.
The blue panel is the top and bottom border tiles .rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise, which is to say the left half is the top bar (with the leftmost part being the uppermost part) and the right half is the bottom bar (with the rightmost part being the lowest part).
The green panel has the top left and top right corner textures in it.
The yellow panel has the bottom left and right corner textures in it.

This is the texture in use in my current UI. Personally I found for the corner graphics it's a LOT easier to create them in a seperate document in a square shape, then scale the horizontal down to squish the image so that it'll look right when the game stretches it back out again.

If you're making your own, don't forget you need to save the file in targa (.tga) format, with an alpha channel that's got the right black/white/grey values to let wow know which parts are meant to be transparent (there's tonnes of tutorials out there, but short and simple is on alpha channel, black is invisible and white if fully visible, while different greys inbetween are semi-translucent). In my case, on my alpha channel the areas you see that are white were black for the alpha channel, and the border had all white over it.

Downloaded a new UI, since I liked the grid in the middle.

There are hidden bars at the silly paint stuff I drew, like my aura bar + 2 bars on the right.

Also, Skinner + VisualThemes looks really nice. Skinner changes the default screens to a bit more modern look.

Visualthemes:

It basically brings Windows Vista's Aero theme or OSX to WoW's default UI elements by adding a transitional animation between frame states. Which looks pretty fancy imo....

Nah, I just had the binds hidden :) Know them by heart/muscle memory anyway now, after 3 years :P

Hey Ino, what's allowing you to show your performance stats in that little frame of their own like that? And with text that's either customisable, or is being affected by ClearFont?

I must know! :D

If you mean the thing under the minimap, thats SLTimex (I heared somewhere that this addon might not be updated anymore, I think at wowinterface.com there is a SLTimex 2.0).

I do not know the font, but there's an Ace2 'addon', Sharedmedia, which really has tons of fonts, backgrounds, borders etc... so I guess it's from that one.
