Yeh i know shit about 3D....

Im a flash/after effects man myself.

but we use aftereffects to make most of our '3D' assets .. as its quicker . and can be just as effective to suit our means.

take a look at this when u get a chance :)

Me and my partner Will animated this last year.

I did all the character design and animation, and he did all the backgrounds and composition.

That's a really sweet movie mate, and very impressive work aswell, i used to work alot in Flash, not for animating tho (i did some stick figure shorts, but nothing too ambitious), i just love to draw in it. Limited compared to photoshop but a completely different experience, and i dont care what people say, it beats the crap out of photoshop when it comes to drawing with a mouse rather than a drawing tablet :)

Unfortunately i dont have one, gonna probably buy one but for the moment i only work in 3d, no real use for it there :P

Ye i have no doubt that tablets are amazing for texturing, namely for the creation part in eg. photoshop, but i still think it would feel alien to me to use it for modelling. Also, that "thing" looks.... well.. scary! :O

well considering i applied 26. of may i think i have been fairly patient hehe.. Dont get me wrong, i would still die for a spot but i can't sit around and pug until Cata comes out.. I hope you understand :)
