Personal Info:

Hi, my name is Patelakis Kostas. I'm 24 years old and i am from Hellas. At the moment i'm  studying at the university of Komotini, economics.!

Spec:

I prefer playing shadow spec as my main spec, cause dps it is not boring like healing... I also like the "competition" between all the dps in a raid... I always try to be 1st in dps until now i have succeeded to be at least 3 top and some times 1st... My offspec is Disc i mostly use it for pvp but i also heal in raids if needed (even my healing gear sucks).

Class:

My stats: intellect is my main stat any gear with intellect and cloth ofc is for me, from secondary stats 1st hit rating until 15% at which i won't miss any spell (hit rating i gain from spirit also so i try to have more spirit than hit rating), then it's haste until 19% cause at 19% my dots gain 2 extra ticks (shadow word pain, devouring plague) and then as much critical i can.!
when the fight starts i go Vampiric touch -> Shadow word pain then i cast "mind blast" in every cooldown cause it give me "shadow orbs" and i spam "mind flay". When "From Darkness, Comes Light" procs i use "Mind spike". And i refresh the dots before they expire. When i have 3 Shadow orbs i cast Devouring Plague. And when boss is at 20% health i use "shadow word Death" which gives me also "Shadow orb"

Alts:

I have 4 alts... Rogue (Mauros), level 85, item level 397 (this i play most when i don't play with my main) Paladin (Gargas), protection/holy level 85 item level 388(prot), 382(holy). Finally i lvlup a druid and a warrior but the aren't at Dunemaul.

Professions:

My main character has Tailoring and Enchanting... From tailoring i gain the
"Lightweave Embroidery" which has a chance to give me 580 intellect for 15 sec, i also gain "Sanctified Spellthread" which gives me 95 intellect and 55 spirit. The benefit i have from enchanting is to be able to enchant my rings with +40 intellect.
My alt's professions are Blacksmithing/mining (Paladin) and Engineering/mining (rogue)

Raid Experience:

I started play Wow at Wrath of the lich King expansion at that moment i cleared all ICC raid only at normal. At cataclysm i have cleared Dragon soul at normal mode and i have killed 4 bosses at heroic mode (Morchok, Warlord Zon'ozz, Yor'sahj and Ultraxion). Mostly with pug groups and with my previous guild.

Previous Guilds:

Well, actually i joined and left a lot of guilds. The reason i left all of those guilds is the raid style of the guild (not enough raid, no progress cause noone knew tacts, unorganized) and another reason cause i want to play with my friends. My last guild is Premeditated the reason i left is, not very skilled players so no progress even we managed to kill some heroic bosses.

Availability:

I don't have any problem with the raid times... I might have issues when my exams come for the university but even then i can find time to raid. I always let the raid leader to know 1-2 days before the raid that i will not be available.

Communication:

Yes i understand when someone speaks, i can also speak and write with no problems. I have teamspeak3 i can hear and speak and i use a headset for speaking cause i don't want to have a microphone in front of me(Actually i don't want anything in front of me except keyboard, mouse and screen)...

Computer / Connection:

Intel core 2 quad 9400 2.66 ghz
4 giga ram
ati radeon Hd 4800
I don't have any fps issues or disconnect issues, i rarely dc.
60 fps and 100-120ms

Addons/UI:

The addons i use are: Deadly Boss Mods(For the raiding warnings), Recount(To check the dps all the time during the encounter), OmniCC(To check easier cooldowns), Shadow Priest DoT Timer (To track my dots when they need refresh and when i need to recast them if a buff procs), NugComboBar (To track shadow orbs), MikScrollingBattleText (For better view cause without it all damage numbers are mess).

Other Games:

I also play Defend of the ancients, sometimes League of Legends and
Call of duty 4: Modern Warfare one of my favorite games.

Why Iron Edge?

I want to join you because i want to play with the best in our server, i want to clear Dragon Soul Heroic and all other raids of Cataclysm... I want to know that the people i'm playing with are as good as me and even better than me, and i believe i can find it at Iron Edge.

What can I offer Iron Edge?

What i can offer, hmmm... I believe a descent and good player who knows his class and wants to progress... I don't talk too much so i won't disturb anyone's ears...!

Where did I hear about Iron Edge??

Incubø, Hulkie, Dardinator and Desiderius are my friends in real life and i would like to raid with them.! Have fun people!

To begin with, thats a pretty complete application! Really liked that. I kinda understood how spriests play   we begun playing at the same period and we were almoset everytime everywhere together.. a lot of raiding exp back at icc times, cause u gain exp not only by progressing but also by wiping -imo- and we DID had a lot of organized pug wipes.. available to do and change to anything for the shake of the group. wipe hater and willing to try until he achieves his goal. always a pleasure playing with a competitive player like him. a huge + from me.

About Zaflez, he is great SP knows his class i did some raid with my priest ( i was healing) on his former guild( was helping dardinator) and he knows his stuff.

as it seems a lot!! just counted the greeks that did applied on IE and counting still from hitnrun(that migrated), sheikone(also migrated with hitnrun),spaxos(currently in EQ) , hulkie,  me, desiderius, checku, dreez, neberius,dardinator, sephiroth, nephely and , at last, zaflez we are kinda a big company that look for an exceptional shelter! and the funny story is that we all are from the same city, except zaflez that we were together at the university. u can check our IP's

Nice app, but kind of low on raid experience so you'll have really have to show your worth. I see no problem is giving you a trial where you prove that top 3 dps claim. Just need to wait for Graxlos to reply.

Decent application. You said you want to clear ds hc - we are pretty much on hold till Mists (9 and a half days LOL). But running hc to gear up to raids would be a good chance to trial your skill and awareness good luck fella .

I guess you are right i didn't mention anything about MoP, i'm just waiting MoP as everyone else does. I'm looking forward to show my worth to everyone in MoP.
