I'm Alban I moved in the UK 6 months ago from Paris for a job in London at King (part of Activision Blizzard King group) to keep working in this wonderful video game industry (was working for Ubisoft back in France). I've been playing WoW since my 14 years old during the good old Burning Crusade.
Class/Spec:I'm playing a brewmaster monk because I really love alcohol... and tanking.
I'm changing class at every extension but my main is always a tank (played pal protection, Blood DK and DH Vengeance)
Alts:My alts are my previous characters :
- DK blood and frost
- Paladin with which I play protection and holy
- DH mainly vengeance but I like the Havoc mecanics a lot
Professions:On my current main I'm doing skinning and leatherworking because it's convenient to skin the mobs you kill and I'm playing a leather character and of course it's always to good have somebody with Drums of Fury in the raid
Raiding/PVP Experience:I did all the main raids of BC, Cata, MoP, WoD and a bit of Legion on normal and Heroic
Previous Guilds:I used to play with the same guild since BC but they all stopped due to IRL duties.
Availability:I'm available most of the week/sunday evenings.
Communication:I guess my english is not to bad, ask Ben (Abyiss) as I'm working with him.
I have all the communication software needed.
Computer / Connection:I have a 1070 GTX SLI in a really cool computer linked to the rooter with a ethernet cable to avoid Wifi randomness.
Addons/UI:I use :
- Elvui + Weak Auras for my action bar management and for all the cooldowns / damage mitigation tracking.
- DBM for all the strategic reminders during raid boss fights
- I did some macros like the multi taunt for Brewmaster Monk (click on the hox totem, cast the taunt, then come back to previous target automaticaly. All of this instant)
Other Games:I used to play competitive and solo games :
- Destiny 2 did the first few raids
- Counter Strike Global Offensive (rank : Suprem Master)
- SCII (Platinum back in the time of WoL)
- BFIII (Used to play in the french Asus Republic of Gamer team)
- Lot of cool solo games like the Assassin's Creed, Witcher etc.
Why Iron Edge?Ben convinced me to do my application twice, double proof of the motivation/dedication !
What can I offer Iron Edge?Some good french cheese/wine and belgian beers during IRLs.
My good knowledge of tanking mecanics.
My seriousness during boss fight and my humour during trash fights !
