Personal Info:

Hey.
My name is Kim and im from Norway. Im 24 years old, and study economics. I also work part time (50%) in a retail store. I recently moved across the country to study, after working as a director in a retail store for about 5 years. At the moment i reside in Trondheim, and im so glad i moved, as i really enjoy living here. Work and school takes up alot of my time, but i always find room for wow aswell. I also work out alot, and besides wow this is my main hobby. As you can see im a busy soul, and thats also the reason i decided to apply for your weekend raiding team. I want to progress content, but still beeing able to maintain my busy schedule in real life aswell.

Class/Spec:

I prefer playing marksmanship, as i understand it, its also the strongest spec for most of Tomb content at the moment. I can also play bm, but unfortunately, i do not have the legendaries to do so (yet). My aim tho is to be able to play both specs, based on what encounter im doing.
My gear level with MM atm is 911 (equipped)
My gear level with BM atm is 908, however as i said, thats with useless mm legendaries.

Ok. So where do we start..
Lets start with stat prios. I always sim my character when i get new loot, to see what item is the best, and what combination of items to use.
At the moment the stat prio for me is Mastery - Crit - Haste. Mastery is an extremely good stat for MM hunters, and in many cases shouldnt be dropped even for more itemlvl. Due to the many combinations of gear/legendaries/tier sets etc we got ingame right now, simming is extremely useful, and i use it alot as i said, so that way im always ontop of keeping updated on my gear.

Legendaries are pretty much all situational, out of the 5 best ones. Boots, Belt, Gloves, cloak and ring, i only have 2 (Boots and belt) however they are still very strong. Hopefully i will have the gloves and ring soon enough, as they are the best ones for pure single target fights.

Talents then.
MM hunters have a very versatile talent calculator. We have alot of viable talents for most encounters. I generally tend to play locknload, explosive shot, volley and piercing shot for aoe, and switch to true aim, patient sniper, crows and trick shot for single target. The last build also gets stronger once you get tier 20 set bonuses, as they make aimed shot even more powerful.

Ive also studied some of the rotation for what it will be like after getting 2 piece from tomb, which is very strong atm for mm hunters (casting 2 aimed shots in a row increases critical strike damage). Basicly its all about aimed shot damage, and using aimed shot during the uptime on the buff. That means single target damage for mm hunters is largely gonna depend on how effectively we use that buff. Here where weakauras etc come in handy, as tracking this will be extremely important. From what i understand u wouldnt want to cast aimed shot in singles without the buff active, as it will be better saving the focus for the next vulnerable window so that you can cast 2 aimed shows in pairs in there.
Thats from how i understand it how the single target rotation is gonna resolve alot around, i have yet to try it out for myself, but i cant wait to be honest.

Alts:

At the moment i have 7 110, everyone however except from my hunter is Alliance, and i rarely play any of em. I enjoy levling alts, but i rarely end up playing anything else than my hunter. The one i play the most however is my affliction warlock (900ilvl).

Professions:

I have mining and engineering and basily because ive had those professions forever. At the moment i havent even levled them to full, as all im interested in is PVE content, and they dont really play any role in whatever pve content i have to do. I wish they would make professions more impactful however, i heard they were gonna do that with legion, however i cant see it really happening.

Raiding Experience:

Ive raided since vanilla, on and off. Tho, pve has changed so much since then, im not even gonna bother listing it.

Mop was the expansion i probably raided the least, i had just started a new job right around this time, and i think thats what made me not raid much during Mop, however i did raid some in the early release of the expansion. On my priest however.
In Draenor i raided as a Dk and Hunter, i played alot during this expansion. I raided mostly heroic, however we did do some mythic content aswell. I got achievements with dates that proves this

In this expansion however ive not been able to raid much, with my busy schedule and moving etc, i simply havent found the time. Most raiding guilds require you to show up for 3 nights a week, and i simply couldnt find the time. When i saw your post on the forum, thats when i decided to try and make an apply, feeling that this was something for me.
I have done 10/10 hc in NH, however i have not been in Tomb yet.

Previous Guilds:

Early in Draenor i was in a guild on Grim Batol called The Dambusters. I tried finding logs from when i raided with them, but unfortunately with no luck. If anyone is better than me with looking at worldoflogs, you could try finding them, as they should be public, i believe i had the same name then as now.
The reason i decided to leave this guild was because of internal struggles within that guild. There was alot of noise with the officers always, arguing in the middle of raids, raids getting canceled because of disagreements etc, the guild atmosphare wasnt good in my opinion, and i eventually decided to leave them.
Currently im in a guild on my Warlock aswell, but im just there as a social, i dont raid with them. Its called Whisky Night on Silvermoon. Feel free to ask some of the members about me if u feel like it however

Availability:

My Schedule is tight, thats the reason im applying for weekend raiding team. I can make sundays without problem, as the store where i work is closed. But other than that its hard to commit to a set schedule for me, because some weeks i can work monday, wednesday and friday, and tuesday and saturday next week again.
Exams and stuff are all done now for the time beeing, and wont be up again untill late november.

Communication:

I can speak English perfectly fine, my pronunciation might be a bit off on some words here and there, but other than that it should be fine. I have a microphone, and Ts 3 is no problem, im fairly known with all voice comm programs.

Computer / Connection:

The only times i ever have fps issues is within huge groups of people. Like if we did a 40man raid, or when everyone is grouped up for a world boss. But in normal raids etc, im usually stable at around 60 fps.
My ping on kazzak is about 40-60 all the time, never been an issue.
Rarely disconnect, if i do, its usually because of some blizzard related issue.

Addons/UI:

I use Weakauras (however at the moment i dont use alot of em),. very useful addon for tracking cooldowns and timers. Can also be useful for some mythic encounters, where u have to deal with certain mechanics.
I use Dbm/exorsus raid tools, for warnings and timers during raids.
Also use Tukui for my interface.

Not much, i play some Overwatch sometimes, other than that i dont really play anything else.

Why Iron Edge?

I want to join the guild because it seems to me like an ideal fit for me. I want to progress content, while still beeing able to do my social/work life aswell, and with my schedule atm, you guys seems perfect. Also you seem like a nice community

What can I offer Iron Edge?

I can offer to always be on top of theorycrafting and info on my class. I enjoy the hunter class alot, and always want to try out new stuff. I also make sure to check out every raid encounter before the first time i do them, so im prepared before each raid. I love doing mythic + and stuff outside of raiding times aswell, and i make sure i always ask guild before i start finding randoms (atleast for my own keys) I always bring consumables, and ive heard that im a kind and happy person So hopefully that would be enough for you guys to consider giving me a trial.
