my name is cliff, im 41 and live in dublin. I work fulltime and enjoy also crossfit in the evenings. My girlfriend and I have a furbaby , chewie the chihuahua who can often be heard yapping in the background when I'm on discord

Class/Spec:

I have always enjoyed the warrior/barbarian archetype and played warrior for most of legion. At the start of BFA I decided to mix things up and went hunter which in retrospect was a bad idea because  simply didn't gel with him as much that and then RL issues meant I had to take a break, I had progressed to like 5 heroic bosses in Uldir at that point.  
I came back for classic and played warrior till level 20 and rediscovered my love for the class. Unfortunately classic ,while nostalgic, doesn't have the same appeal as retail I think M+ is one of the best additions to the game and also enjoy PVP so I have decided to come back and try to find a nice quild to immerse myself in all that wow has to offer.

Alts:

My hunter was called Manimane, I also have DH I dabbled with called Manime(120) and a druid who I have played on and off since TBC Manimalia(110).
I may race change and level up Manimalia as a zandalari troll but this is one of my longer term goals, I will be focusing on Crom for the time being.
I plan to play Fury primarily but am not averse to tanking( I will have to tank a fair bit in M+I would imagine to gear up at the start). I also enjoy arms pvp and I see that fury is also doing quite well/?better in that department so looking forward to slaughtering many gnomes

Professions:

herbalism & alchemy - alchemy trinket , longer duration flasks and I like to be self sufficient for pots - hopefully can make some ok gold too

Raiding/PVP Experience:

In terms of raiding I was in a fairly hard core guild back in BC/Wrath and would have played resto druid back then 4-5 days per week. I also pvpd casually mostly with my RL friend and we got to 1800 in 2v2. I think I had something like 1600 in RBGs on manimalia. Nothing too stellar but I had a blast and was essentially pugging those.
During cata/mists/warlords i wasn't particularly active in wow. I came back for legion and did fairly well with a really fun social guild.  
I try to read up on my class and research the best talents and rotation. I am always open to constructive criticism and strive to improve my character and game play.
I would hope to achieve high keys and perhaps if I find a partner/s maybe push for higher ratings in PVP also, but most importantly I would like to have fun with like minded players.

Previous Guilds:

My last guild was encroachment which was a  casual guild as of writing this I am still in it but the only member

Availability:

evenings from approx 8-11 pm GMT, nearly all of the weekend ( I may go to dinner or a movie sometimes)

Communication:

yes I am . I have discord at the moment but of course can get team speak. I have a microphone and use it.

Computer / Connection:

Quite decent ,with a reliable and stable connection. never have any issues with raiding etc

at the moment I just have bartender, azeroth auto pilot and  recount installed. Of course for raiding I would get a boss mod and whatever else is required.
I use bartender to configure my action bars into a 4x3 grid to mirror the thumb buttons on my logitech G600 and with the twelve buttons  + modifiers CTRL/SHIFT have all my abilities mapped to the mouse

Other Games:

Well during my break I played quite a bit of elder scrolls online, but I have let my sub lapse and will be playing wow exclusively for the foreseeable future

Why Iron Edge?

Well, I came across the recruitment post on the forum and am very keen to get back into raiding but on a more relaxed schedule. Its my hope that once I am geared up and well integrated into the guild that I will have the opportunity to participate in the Sunday raid. As I mentioned earlier I also enjoy M+ and am looking for a nice guild to call home and where I can meet mature and friendly people to play with.

What can I offer Iron Edge?

I am a mature, friendly and positive guy. I am excited to really get back into wow and would really appreciate the opportunity to contribute to the guild. If accepted I will endeavour to become an active member of the community and play my part to ensure a positive and fun atmosphere. The guild makes the game and its a much better experience  playing with guildies you've come to know rather than pugging, I hope people in the guild will become my friends in time.

Where did I hear about Iron Edge?

I came across the recruitment post on the forum. I was looking for guilds that raided on weekends.

Yes I am currently leveling with a view to participating in the Sunday raid when geared and settled in as well as general shenanigans
