Main used to be Protection, i am however switching between fury and prot depending on needs.

A ton of stuff changed since MoP, i just got to 60 so don't kill me on not knowing top stats to go for.
Rotation as fury is basically:
Charge, Bloodthirst, Raging blow, Raging blow, maybe execute proc, maybe rampage if not enraged yet
Keep enraged up as long as possible via Rampage, Bloodthirst or Raging blow reset.
Fillers are Whirlwind, Raging Blow.

Recklessness and Conquerors Banner on CD.

Rotation as prot:
Keep aggro, shield slam on cd thunderclap basically on cd or for aoe aggro control.
Shield block rotation, to keep it up during high damage phases.
CDs depending on situation.

Not sure if any of that is optimal but im getting there.

Raiding Experience:

Wotlk full 10M + 25M heroic on a private server long long long ago (when i began playing)
Cataclysm first patch full heroic (still private server - there wasn't more available)
MoP only scratching the surface of Siege of Ogrimmar, as the core group was falling apart and soon after i went inactive.

I was main tank throughout all raids.
Fire mage was closely behind.
Holy Priest was not in too many raids but i had no issues or problems healing.


Previous Guilds:

A guild called Eminence on multiple private servers...there is no trace of it i guess. Vexeer was my previous GM back in the day. This guild was a leading guild back then on that private server. Getting server first kills as the bosses came out.
After Vexeer moved to retail wow, i kept playing in this guild as gm and over the years we moved multiple servers up until we ended up in MoP on retail as well. From a solid 25m raiding group, from server to server to retail, we lost people. Ended up with a solid 10 man group which later on slowly dissipated as people moved on with life.

My mage remains in this guild on Kazzak.
With my warrior main i later joined a guild called Echo and played alongside Shimmar (what a small world it is...right?). Maybe he remembers me

I never left that guild after raiding was slowly fading and i went inactive when i had some real life tests coming up.



Availability:

I have a very flexible work schedule, currently even more so due to corona. I am home every day.
In the summer i usually go out climbing but i can schedule this any way i want.

No upcoming fixed holidays.

Communication:

I think if shimmar remembers me, he can maybe vouch for my communication?

Computer / Connection:

i have constant 100+fps on max settings
100mbit internet that pretty much never fails.

20ms on kazzak (both home/world)

Only shift modifiers so far.

Other Games:

Used to play a bunch of cs go for a while, got to legendary master eagle then got bored and hopped from game to game.
Recently:
- Valheim
- No mans sky
- Star Citizen (i hope they finish this)
- Played also a bunch of League of legends back in the day but nowadays it's absolute shit
- Tried Elder Scrolls online
- Anno 1800

Basically all over the place..i wanna focus on 1 game though and i am craving a challenge - a team challenge.

I mean...i saw the name and i instantly knew it was you dude.
Then i saw Vexeer (aka Zeraxs -> https://imgur.com/sK2sZAL) and i couldn't believe how in the world did these 2 people end up in the same guild?!? I mean, on retail i never raided with Vexeer. Shimmar and Vexeer were not connected in any way. And now to see these 2 familiar names.
This MUST BE A SIGN!

What can I offer Iron Edge?

My time - is there anything more precious?

No, really.

I wanna get back into the game and hopefully be a person you guys can rely on - wether if it's being on time, doing the best during raids or just enjoying the game together.

Although currently i suck, since i just got into the game, i used to know every mechanic, every boss and i came prepared to win - every time.

Where did I hear about Iron Edge?

I was browsing wowprogress and i was checking out what guild vexeer is in, checking out his progress, his char and then saw the name shimmar in the guild roster.


Last Words?

Yes i did apply as raider but i know i am currently most probably not suitable for that, not even close.

Hell, i just logged in for the first time last friday after stopping in 2014.


But i also don't want to apply as casual or social as my goal is raiding (once i got the gear and build)
I realize you might not be in terrible need of a fury warrior or let alone a protection warrior.
I can however level my alts (which got level squashed to 35)  and be more useful as a mage or maybe priest.

I can also re-apply later on once im better geared.

Nice to see a familiar face from Echo days.
As it stands we wouldn't be looking for a new tank, but we could be open to the prospect of another warrior. At this time it's hard to say if we would be able to offer you a spot in the main raid in the near future.
I can vouch for your ability to play at a high standard in the past which is why we're considering the application.
I understand that raiding is what you want to do, so I don't want to give you any false-promises of a spot. What we can offer is a social place for the time being - and come back to this raider application closer to the next tier. In the mean time it gives you a chance to actually get back into the game, get geared and see if you are happy with what you're playing.
Let me know your thoughts. Look forward to hearing back from you.

Hi Shimmar,

i fully agree with everything you said. When the next tier of raids get released we can see however i fit in. By then i should have my warrior and probably also some alts leveled and geared up.

Right now im just maximizing everything there is to maximize.

And when the time comes and you're still full to the brimm, i can manage, no worries.
