I am applying for the main raid.

Personal Info:

Liam, 30, Norway.
Studying IT, worked full-time for many years, now getting a degree to get a proper job.

Class/Spec:

I prefer Disc, but it is currently far behind Holy. So until Disc gets a major buff, I will remain Holy on priest.
Currently 320 ilvl, geared both for disc and holy, have some backup pieces to swap out to balance stats.

Holy values crit/mastery for raids, and crit/haste for m+. Disc needs a lot more haste than holy, and wants primarily haste/mastery.
Therefor I have a lot of crit and haste, and use mastery flasks. I prefer having high haste as it allows me to spot heal more effectively, and I find that in terms of output, having a balance between mastery and haste on holy is more efficient than only focusing on mastery.

With the last few pieces, and unlucky drops, my stats are a bit out of balance, currently about 1k rating crit and haste, with 8-900 mastery flasked.

I prioritize keeping prayer of mending on CD, as it does a lot of healing passively and remains on the target until damage is taken. This also synergizes well with Twinsight talent that places PoM on a second target. HW: Serenity I try to keep at 1/2 charges as it applies Renew, while also triggering cosmic ripple for aoe healing when it comes off CD.
Flash heal is used when I have time to cast a heal, or for resetting Serenity. This gets cast a lot, as holy does not have any severe mana issues this patch.

It's not easy to write long regarding holy priest, as they are not a very complex healer.

This is one of the oldest characters on my account at the moment, and has been max level every expansion even if it wasnt geaered each time.
It has been all 3 specs, 4 different races, and will likely be a night elf when the time comes.
Paladin has been my go-to for a long time, and has been dragged into battleground, arenas, raids, and the occasional visit to Lion's Pride Inn.

Professions:

I must admit I have been terrible with professions for the longest time.
My first real focus on professions came in Dragonflight due to being poor for too long, and wanting to buy transmogs :')

Prior to DF I have only once tried to spend proper time on professions, which ended in me farming Sholazar Basin for Eternal Fire as an engineer.

Raiding Experience:

I have raided on and off, casual and more hardcore, since WotLK. Starting out with pugging nm and hc in ICC, and hosting rep farms for rings and boes.
Cata (which I skipped in favor of Molten-WoW WotLK) and MoP I only pugged, and focused on PvP.
WoD I found a guild I stayed with for a while until I took a break for the game. In Legion I looked for a new guild, and raided with them until the release of Nighthold, before I got burned out on farming Artifact Power. BfA was a similar situation with Azerite Power, but the guild I had found was a bit too casual, so I decided not to raid at all, as I famously have not enjoyed looking for guilds or applying to raid teams.

Since SL I have been pushing for more serious progress. More on this below.


Previous Guilds:

Of the ones I remember the name of:

Tears and Tissues, leadership changed and RL quit. Many players ended up leaving.
Unbound, many players quit as this was a "revival" of a guild that was falling apart. We pushed through 2 tiers before it again fell apart.
The Usurpers, joined as casual raiders as work/study schedule was not decided. They were a bit too casual, with no ambition of progressing mythic past 4th boss.

I do not remember the guild names of the guilds prior to this, unfortunately.


Availability:

Any day after 18:30. Haven't gotten exam dates yet.

Stable 750/750 internet.
No issues with lag, high ping, and disconnect.

Last lag issue was Dragonflight, Tindral.

Why Iron Edge?

Looking for a guild to progress mythic and get CE with.
This guild has been stable for a long time, which is what I have been looking for. A community which achieves CE together.

I am looking for a guild that has good and fun banter, but also takes raiding seriously and progresses well together.

What can I offer Iron Edge?
