I agree Kawe, I am actually so dissapointed in the now postponed releasedate and pricetag of the PS3 (not that I was getting it at launch at all, but if/when I got it it would probably be cheaper if launched in november as originally intended ), that I'm actually looking at the 360 as the console of choice (if I ever scrape together enough cash to blow on it). Especially since Assassin's Creed is now coming to X360 as well as the PS3. It looks like the most interesting game in development, to me at least. Of course FF and MGS are still PS3 games, but honestly I've lost much of my PS-fanboyism with their mucking about over the past year. Also, for some reason I can't shake the feeling that the Nintendo WII (the most ridiculous name to date, which makes it sort of cool ) will be great fun. It's just sad that in Denmark it seems the price will be almost 50% higher than in the US, while the other consoles are hitting approx. the same mark. Not sure that a souped up Gamecube is worth that kind of money...

The Wii is going to be something totally new and exciting. You should go find some info to read about it, I guarantee once you know enough about it you'll start getting quite excited about it

But yeah, Sony's mucking about has really annoyed me.

Assassin's Creed coming out on XBox360 is kind of good news though. It's one of the interesting titles, and the trailer looked cool too. But I don't have a 360 and most likely won't ever get one, down to line-up reasons, it just seems kind of weak by comparison to things like Zelda: Twilight Princess, new smash bros (with solid snake.. giggle) and the ps3 lot. Plus, you know how it is with consoles, you only really get one, and possibly another bt only a long while after and when price has dropped a good deal.

again, I totally agree. And I have read quite alot about the wii, and am excited with the prospects. I'm just pissed it's gonna be more expensive here in Denmark (I dunno about the other european countries), than it is other places in the world. I mean, you're already going to pay alot for the extra controllers and other stuff, why make it almost as expensive as an X360, when the hardware (of the console itself, the real innnovation is in the controller, really) is not nearly as advanced. I think my choice will be between the 360 and the Weewee, honestly. I really want to play Zelda and smash bros, they are definetely big draws. Anyway, I need to actually have money for anything before I can get one, so at the moment I'm just gonna enjoy watching the pricetags dwindle (yeah.... right.)

I'm a bit confused by the FF games, which ones are online, and which are not? Will the next FF game be online, and nr. will the next in line be  ?

Only FFXI is an online game atm, all others are not. The new FFXII (that would be number 12, in case you're wondering ) should revert to the good old singleplayer formula we know and love (more or less ).

But you never know, if it turns out the ps3 is tanking completely, square-enix may choose to port it. I wouldn't count on it though.

I always wait until the 2nd quarter a console comes out, because you tend to avoid any of the early teething issues, larger game library,  plus the price always comes down hard in the second quarter
