Sadly such tests are so horribly biased. linguistic and maths questions are quite based on your knowledge rather than your intelligence.

Well tbh I wouldn't call that test biased: I think I know what you mean, bacause I could see different patterns when choosing objects for example. But then it rly comes down to what you mean by intelligence and how you meassure it...

I didn't cheat, I did ask graxlos what gennemsnitt, retskaffen, ophavsret and fortrydelig meant, but the only one that really helped me was retskaffen.

Sorry legin, it's a dumb test, and should be completely disregarded. It says nothing, nothing at all about one's intelligence, IQ or anything, it's just another pop-internet-self-confidence-boosting-fake-IQ-test.

Basically, as I was explaining on vent last night, generally the people that seek IQ tests, or who are even on the Internet, generally have an IQ over 100.

But yes, tests have to be quite carefully constructed so that they don't rely on linguistic or mathematical prowess. The idea is that most tests could be completed by anyone over the age of 12 (or anyone with rudimentary unstanding of language).

In fact, we tend to be sharper when we are younger. I guess something about living life dulls our intellect over the years.

(I've dropped 10 points or so in the last 10 years).

You can get some 'proper' (IQ is always going to be a bit objective...) tests sent to you in the post, and then a proper score returned to you. If you are really interested, I suggest you try one.

(I looked for some links online, but I can't find any, apart from the Mensa one... Just hundreds of free, online, shitty tests :)

Oh, and yes, undoubtedly everyone in IE has an IQ over 100. We've had some people below 100 over the years, but atm I think we're all quite comfortably in the top few percentile.
