Hi guys, haven't really been so much on your forums recently but I'd like to discuss about the WotLK changes with as many people as possible, mainly to occupy time whilst waiting for them to come . I've recently started up a priest discussion thread on the ravenous class forums, I don't have access to your class forums anymore :<, so maybe you've already discussed this as much as you'd like to, but if you'd want to share some thoughts, insight or discoveries or even just read up on a few things then the thread is:

Don't know how many of you who are interested in priests have beta access, or how much time those of you with beta access have to test things, but if there is anything you'd like tested then I'll do my best to figure it out . BTW I am Reyanir on the Ravenous Forums.
If for whatever reason you don't want to post on the Ravenous Forums feel free to continue the discussion here, I'll check for updates.

Well I'm not much of a forum person myself, as you can tell from my awesome post count, but sometimes it's nice to get some ideas out. Since I haven't leveled in the beta it would be nice if you could post what the higher ranks of spells are like and such, I don't know if you've gotten to 80 yet? It's good I guess in once sense, since I was kind of silly and copied all my alts over I only have one priest on the beta servers which means if I want to do any testing at lvl 70 it has to be done before I level.

And how could you forget Kagemoth? Or is he not much of a forum whore either? I got the impression that he frequented forums quite regularly when he was still in Rav.
I don't mind input from casuals / pvpers, all perspectives are welcome

I don't think he cares much for numbers... he just hits his buttons as fast as he can

I don't do much with numbers either, but it's nice to see them... hopefully something will sink in.

I am a bit loathe to discuss it with 2+ months left though, I think a lot will change. Almost nothing is balanced right now... expect a LOT of percentages to change (even if they are only slight), which will throw all your beautiful maths out.

I'm still 75 -- no time/inclination to level. I'll try to dig some numbers out later though, if I can actually log onto the beta...!

Have you tried at all today? It's been fairly good for me... well I got on and I played around with my talents, then when I actually tried to group with someone so I could test out the healing effect of Penance (damn spells that you can't use on yourself!) then the servers seemed to get a bit jumpy. Seems OK at the moment though.

I am discussing more then just numbers... even if I use rather a lot of numbers to do it... maybe I am scaring people away? Though I guess in the end it is a bit pointless... it's just fun to speculate a bit, or at least I thought so. I know when TBC was coming out I would have liked to see how the new talents would work and such, even the ones that got removed. I still wonder how much circle of renewal would have been ticking for, but maybe that's just me.

BTW Is there a way of editing your posts on this forum? Because if there isn't it's really annoying.

I don't know if you know about this but at the moment at least there is a bug with Penance - if you train rank 2 and then respec you keep the spell, it doesn't animate properly, but it works Kind of funny to see what the spell would look like with the +healing from holy.

I haven't tried today, really busy with some work... and now I have to 5v5, and sell a bear...

Well, did a bit of instancing tonight.

Replenishment is nice, for sure. Seems to apply the buff to 10 people on VT application, lasts 15 seconds. Then while the spriest DPSes, it's constantly renewed (sat at 14 second buff duration). VT runs out, it starts counting down (yes, mana returned 15 seconds after VT...)

But I imagine at 80, when I have 20k mana, it might be slightly more exciting.

Dispell magic glyph = omgawesome. Healed Crazy for 1.4k, with a single dispell. He had 20k health or so...

DOTA coming up, will type more soon...ish.

Hm, it sounds like one mana battery would be enough for an entire raid like that then, unless when there is more then 10 people it can apply it to it removes the buff from the persons with the highest mana. Try and get a raid group together if possible please

With a single dispel do you mean you dispelled only one magic effect? Or just one cast of dispel? If the first one then please find someone with two magic effects. I guess someone lvled inscription, or did they make the glyphs easily accessible somewhere for testing? Either way if you don't want to test all of them out please send some my way / inform me who I can bug to get some ;o Can they even be used at 70 or is there a higher lvl requirement on them? Is there a level requirement on them at all?

Wtb Disc Dps. How much did a flash heal heal for and a greater heal Rae. Atm
with a 4 part bonus my max rank gheal and flash heal is i think about 6000+/2000+.
