Its Getting Buffed. Good thing too sicne it was kinda on par with a few other items if u exclude the Absorb thing. 

-Item Level has been increased from 239 to 245
-Stamina has been increased from 52 to 55
-Intellect has been increased from 54 to 57
-Spell Power has been increased from 587 to 621
-Critical Strike Rating has been increased from 47 to 50
-Haste Rating has been increased from 46 to 49


Look at the spell power! Much better. I still personally think it needs to get a little bit more buff for it to be like TF was in Vannila and Glaives in BC.

Its arguable that its legendary and its drop rate made it as strong as it was supposed to be. IE was blessed in drops with Glaives and it was a big factor for sunwell. Why shouldnt valanyr be anymore on par with that.

Im not saying its not good. The proc is very powerful. I just think they coulda done more with the 2nd real Caster Legendary. By comparison i woulda prefered atiesh.

To be fair, it's not that hard to get, really.  It's got the same drop rate for us as other items, such as the sword from hm 10-man xt.  There's no reason for it to be super good, except for the fact that it's orange...
