My First Char is a mage which started in GrimBatol. I played in Revolution (Turkish Raiding guild) and we migrated to Burning Steppes. I played a bit more then i have banned (Arena Bug Abuse) After i've banned i took my rl friend's account who isn't playin anymore and play in Dunemaul because i have lots of rl friends in there. I've been in Tyrants , Cold Blooded , Root in there
I've done many TBC raids. (not played in Vanilla) Playing also with My PvP character Rogue who needs only 2 5 v 5 achievement for Arena Master. I've migrated it to Dunemaul last week from stromscale.

Hi!

Not the longest app, but you have decent gear, experience and relatively good written english.

I assume you are turkish and living in turkey?  So the questions become:
- Do you have a stable internet connection?  We've had a few people from turkey who disconnected every 30 minutes...
- What's your spoken english like?  Do you have a microphone? Can you talk on vent?
- Are you good at listening to and understanding spoken english?  All our raids are lead from vent by a brit (who doesn't like to have to shout or repeat himself).

Lastly, is your friend likely to come back and want his account back?  How long have you played on his/her mage? what's the name of your first mage?

My internet Connection : 10mbit (it's really good for turkey) and It isnt TurkTelekom Connection (Private Connection only for some states)
PC : 1gb Graphics , 4gb Ram , Core2duo 2.4 vs has no problem before.

I'm still usin' ventrillo, I have mic  and i can understand everything what u want to say. =)

I'm playin with this account for 1 years and still talkin' with him no problem. Actually he'snt my friend he is my cousin and workin so much.. I merged the acc to battlenet myself no problem with it =)

Ok, good good.  What about Tyrants, Root et al?  Why aren't you in those guilds any more?

You know there's no tyrants anymore =)

Root : I still have too much rl friends in root but They recruit some1 he was the trade spammer and he sweared to our rl friends who kicked by Hyborian cause of that. I was Mage class leader me and my friend rogue classleader in root who's in catastrophe now, they dont ask us to recruit him.Then we warned them to dont want him inside. Some officers promised us to kick him the day after but he's not kicked. We warned them again not to want him. And they said that u can leave if u dont want.. And Then we had to leave the guild but sayin' again i have too much rl and wow friends in there.

I have 8 Mbits but having higher bandwidth has no relation with latency nor disconnects.
Every turkish connection is routed over the same carrier to Telia and that is the main problem for turkey which means even thou you r not experiencing disconnects or latency problems, you eventually will.
It took me many and many long phone calls with the ISP till i have a stable 100-110 ms even thou i sometimes have latency problems. To overcome these i fire up  your-freedom client which is not a real solution at all. Because what your-freedom does is to root connection over germany or switzerland (whichever server u choose) and all you can do is to hope that lines are not crowded with turkish porn-lovers. Most of the time are not xD.

What I really wonder is i cant see any cooldown timers and since i cant see much action bars also, how can u watch out your cooldowns on abilities?

and an open question to all mages out there; It takes just 5 skills to dps? oh come on...

Most caster classes are ridiciously simple (no offence). Arcane mages are quite infamous for having one of the easiest jobs as a dpser.

Actually we're usin only 3 Spell to dps (Arcane Mages)
Arcane Blast
Arcane Barrage
Arcane Missiles

4 Stack Arcane Blast Then if procs Arcane Missiles to clear. if no procs Arcane Barrage to clear

Others are Helpin our dps And raid buffs , Mage's Armors , Blizzard , Frost Nova , Counter Spell , Spell Steal , Polymorph , Remove Curse (i'm usin decursive), Wards , Invisibility etc..

Cooldowns for Mana vs at Right square Evocation , Mana Gem for mana.. Ice Block and Blink.. and I'm usin OmniCC u can see on the Ice Block

And it's not only easy .. it's really boring dpsin' with 3 spell..I want play Fire Talent but it really need high hit rating.. If i can get 2-3 fire items i'll change it's boring =)
