Rash have been doing irl stuff the past couple of days as far as I know, so thats probably why he hasn't responded yet. But why apply to join the PvP squad if you knew Rash wouldn't let you in? To be honest I don't think this would be the case though, since he listens to the other pvp'ers more than his own personal feelings, when it comes to taking in new people.

And after your long and (seemingly) sincere apology post, he would probably forgive you any beef you two have had in the past and let you in. But I guess its your choice, so good luck in the future!

Mirlol has already made up with me, but all the stuff he said and the reputation that he has gotten over the time can't be forgotten so easy by putting in a couple of lines of text. I need to see results before I can invite you, so I can make sure you don't just leave the guild like you have already done in the past in other guilds. I also need to make sure you won't do random shit in BG's, be serious about it, and that you are able to take orders even if you think they're bad. All the stories I've heard about Mirlol + my own experience simply cannot guarantee this.

I already offered an external trial, and the only purpose of that is to make sure the IE guild reputation does not get harmed. Mirlol doesn't want to be treated like that, so all I can do now is respect his decision and wish him best of luck to where he wants to go next.

It's a shame he didn't agree to an out-of-guild trial. You sound like a nice guy, Jess!

Therash -- people _do_ change, especially when they're young. The teenage years are pretty tough, and aggressive acts like PVP are quite hard to keep control over.

In the past, when guildies have had issues with applicants, an apology was enough. The obvious example is Jaca -- he wasn't allowed to join until Legolew (an old IEr) accepted his apology.

It might be that he's just spinning words on a forum... but also, don't judge people by a single outburst

I think this is the issue though, mirlol is quite famous for being a douche. Not like in a witty or funny way but just famous for being quite obnoxious and rude and far from at one occasion.

I personally don't have any runins with Mirlol per se (not that I remember atleast) but I do know that his current reputation is so bad that something like "It's OK, my birthday last week - I'm older now" simply won't suffice to qualm the bad blood he has worked hard to build up over a year or two.
