I am more interested in Figl's thoughts about IE, about me, why he left, why he returned, and all those kinds of things. Those are the kinds of things that the guild should know about, too -- not just me!

YOU ARE ALL PART OF IE.

I AM THE ONLY PERSON WHO DECIDES ON F&F APPLICATIONS.

_Everyone_ is welcome to comment on _every_ IE forum post. If I don't like your comments, I will remove you from the group. If you are part of this group, your opinion is as valid as everyone else's. In that sense, it is a democracy.

I agree that A-raiders are more INTERESTED in A-raider apps, but a B-raider's opinion might still be important. And vice-versa! An A-raider can comment on a B-raider app! All of these applicants are JOINING THE SAME GUILD, so we all have a VESTED INTEREST to make sure that the people who are joining are suited to IE.

Again, if one more person says 'omg why are you commenting here?' I will deny the app and ban the person from the forum.

So i've only read 2 pages of this and some chatter on IRC.

I appreciate that its 'not helpful blahblah'

But who cares? It says more about the guild that so many peeps are flaming and shit stirring in this thread over a player that i've known since vanilla (doubt he remembers me though) who made a short app cos he's been on ts and in contact with the serbs for ages.

I've made like 5 apps to this guild over the years, even tho i've never been out of contact with it for the entire 6 years i've been a member, twice i've had to rewrite them. Its all a bit silly tbh... who cares? really?

Inb4 shitstorm.

You are missing the point sintrael. Point is that same rules (beeing silly or not) should apply to everyone. Other point is double standards where this is ok just cause it's a friend. Officers should stick b he rules

But since you are going there I defenelty think making a proper application should be a criteria of joining us
