Howdy hey all you Iron Edge people!

I am Laserbeamjoe, also known as Joe, because all my characters end with Joe.

Personal Information

My name is Regin Terjason Johannesen and I am a 23 years old bloke from the Faroe Islands. Currently I try to work my butt off, so that I can scrape together enough money for my future studying in England. Hopefully that will be in a year or abit more. I am also a gentle and patient guy as long as people don't screw up continiousely in raids :-Ð

Character Information

I have always been playing the Paladin class and I have 210 days played if you add this paladin and my old alliance ones together.

My gear is pretty decent in my opinion and its totally ready for heroic modes (so is my brain)

I play Retribution at the moment, but in the future you might be investing in a Ret/Holy paladin, with mad skills in both. (Have 0 holy gear atm).

Raiding Times

I can raid every day except Saturday evenings, as my friends need some sugar now and then to stay alive. If I can't raid for some reason, I will give notice in advance for sure.

World of Warcraft History

Well I started to play WoW in the early days of Vanilla. My first character was a holy paladin also called Laserbeamjoe and yes I leveled to 60 as holy >_< That paladin was my main throughout Vanilla and I did MC, ZG, AQ, OnY and did PvP for rest. 2-3 months into TBC I rerolled from alliance to horde and made a feral druid. I joined In Virtue with my cousin Kuldaskap, and did some great tanking there with him and good people like Jólamaðurin (Bananainsane) and Decayus. After IV I joined So What and was in that guild for a very long time, all through TBC and WOTLK I did some great raiding with them with my druid, but with my paladin always geared for PvP and just incase we needed a healer for some heroic modes etc.

After Ulduar I turned my druid the back completely and focused solely on my paladin and have done that since. I don't have much experience in Cataclysm and Dragon Soul is the only raid I have tried in Cata as I've had a break since the end of WOTLK untill some months ago. For some time now I have been wandering mindlessly through the naked streets of anarchy in Dunemaul and I hope to find my spot in one of the last civilized guilds on the server.

I just want to do some hardcore raiding again, because I miss the good teamplay of awesome players.

Why I want to join Iron Edge

I think I accidently mentioned abit of this segment in the previos part, but the reason I want to join Iron Edge, is because I feel lost in this server, mainly because of the Tuskish invasion this server is suffering from, and because your guild has continiousely and with a firm grip, proven to be the best guild on the server and I know some people in your guild aswell. Jóla you'd better respond on this :-Ð

What I can offer to Iron Edge

I can offer a consistency of great performance and many years of hardcore raiding in all tiers of the game. I know how to find innovatinve ways to cross over obstables in raiding (even though there isn't that many difficult obstables to cross over in raiding these days) and im always willing to compromise if needed. My DPS isnt too shabby either ;-Ð

I wrote this application 2 times because I forgot to plug in the charger so the PC died , so the second time around I just hurried through, so I hope I didn't forget much.

P.S.S

I don't really know exactly what specific raiding team I made this application for, but I want to raid 10 man heroic content, not 25(if you even have a 25 man team).

Nice application, what was your Druid called? Jola might not respond since he is going to china, I also think our 10 man raid stopped raiding after killing deathwing.

We have a really good and fun group going 25 though, currently 2/8 HC

Hey Kage Well I actually made an application for the PvP section a while ago, but I didnt get accepted, but then I started doing some raiding and I got hooked again :-Ð

I've known this guy for a while now, since he joined my ds10 grp, awesome guy and a good raider. But sadly we had to change our raid day, which he couldn't attend.
So if the B-raid needs a Raider you guys should really give this guy a shot.

Excellent app we only have/had 1 10man group and I'm not quite sure what they are doing now that they killed DW. You'll need to wait until one of them responds here.

Should you change your mind we do have a 25man, 2 days a week, that's always looking for good players.

We did sart 10+3d when it was actually hard and lots of other stuff.


Rly good player both in pve and pvp and generally a good guy.

Your stupit not to take him since he will prolly out dps most you guys and he makes verry few mistakes.

So what I can see here is that the 10 man group does not need me, thats okay, I just thought that you might have more than one of them :-D The reason that I prefer doing 10 man raiding is just that it feel alot better and the responsibility of each player is signifigantly larger than it is on 25 man. Since 10 man raiding was introduced to the game, ive always prefered it over 25 man, but okay I think I can manage raiding 25 man with you guys, as you clearly are doing a good job at the moment. Oh and the performance on my current PC will not be as smooth on 25 man, as on 10, but I'm about to buy a new one in a very short time.

If you are looking for a place where your performance counts the casual raid is better then a 10 man, you will need to carry more players
