[Social Member] Druid (Heal) - Treeheals

Hello, Iron Edge!

Character: Treeheals
Armory: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/Kazzak/Treeheals/advanced
Class/Spec: Druid (Heal)
Raid: Social Member

Personal Info:

Liam, 20, United Kingdom (Kent), looking for work currently

Spec:

Currently playing restoration with feral offspec. Recently changed my offspec from balance to feral to give feral a go (never played it before, want to see what it's like). 553/558 resto (depending on whether i use t15 4set or t16 - prefer t15 4set due to the bonus). feral gear isnt complete yet so cant really say what item level it is. mostly flex/normal gear though

Class:

For restoration, we obviously use intellect and spirit (to a comfortable amount). After that, I personally prefer to reach the highest haste breakpoint possible (13163) then stack mastery. Crit is our worst stat. Having a high amount of haste means that my hots will tick more, i will cast faster and have a lower GCD, meaning I have more raid healing than a druid who goes for a mastery build.

At lower gear levels, I went for a mastery build. so hit the haste breakpoint of 3043, then stacked as much mastery as i could for bigger heals

Alts:

Plenty of alts, though mostly all on Stormscale. 519 blood/frost dk, 523 prot paladin, 506 sub/combat rogue, 496 mw monk, 502 destro/affli warlock, 543 spriest, 511 survival hunter, 488 fire/frost mage, 426 lvl85 warrior

Out of all of these, I prefer to play my paladin, spriest and hunter.

Professions:

Currently using Leatherworking and Alchemy.

I chose Alchemy as I like having the 2 hour flask duration to save a bit of gold, along with an unlimited use flask to give +320 stats (although this is pointless now as I have the Crystal of Insanity (+500 stats).

I chose Leatherworking due to the +500 wrist embossment, as well as the ability to create leather gear to use for myself if I wish to do so.

Raid Experience:

Spread across different characters!
Dragon Soul: 8/8 normal, 6/8hc (rogue)
MsV: 6/6 normal, 4/6hc
HoF: 6/6 normal (DK only)
ToES: 4/4 normal
ToT: 12/12 normal, 9/13hc

I also organise weekly pugs on OpenRaid for mainly SoO Flex, and previously LFR in 5.2-early 5.4 which have proved to be quite popular.

Previous Guilds:

I have been raiding since the end of Cataclysm, where I got into a guild on my rogue and managed to kill 6/8 heroic in dragon soul which was a fun experience for me, despite so many people hating Dragon Soul.

At the start of MoP, I abandoned my rogue as I didn't like the changes and started on my priest. I didn't raid much until 5.2 due to a lack of a guild.

In 5.2, I started a guild with some friends and cleared Mogu'shan Vaults and Terrace of Endless Spring (we weren't geared up enough to take on Throne of Thunder at this point).

In 5.3, I decided to make a change again and play my druid. Got into a few guilds on Stormscale and managed to clear 4/13hc in ToT.

When 5.4 hit, I transferred to Kazzak to raid with the guild that I had raided with in Cataclysm, but a fight broke out between the officers and that guild was short lived. Got into another guild with some people from the previous guild and cleared 8/14 normal. After a month or so, a healer and tank left the guild (both officers who helped the GM) and the GM decided to end the guild as he couldnt find another tank or healer to join. Since then I found groups in trade chat to finish clearing SoO normal and want to start on heroics at some point when I am free to do so

Availability:

I am available most days, but don't have a fixed schedule for raiding unfortunately, which is why I find groups in trade chat most of the time

Communication:

English is my first and only language so I can speak it rather well. I have teamspeak, ventrilo and mumble installed so can use them if ever needed, and a working microphone too

Computer / Connection:

I have a fairly decent computer, though I cannot say the same for my internet. Have been having trouble with it for a month or two now, and BT don't seem to want to do anything about it. I will occasionally disconnect for about 5-10minutes, but that can happen at any time :(

Addons/UI:

- BigWigs
- Skada
- ElvUI (main UI is this, but felt it needed a mention due to raid frames being used while raiding)
- WeakAuras
- Blood Legion RaidCooldown

Other Games:

I play quite a few other games; CS:GO, Garry's Mod, Amnesia, RIFT occassionally, and a few more that I cannot think of right now

Why Iron Edge?

I raided with 5 or so of your members recently on Garrosh normal and you seemed like a nice bunch of people. Have also raided with Illidanius before in my LFR/Flex runs on OpenRaid and he recommends the guild :)

What can I offer Iron Edge?

A friendly and helpful player who enjoys playing the game and is fairly decent at healing

Where did I hear about Iron Edge??

Illidanius

Last Words?

Thank you for reading this essay, I hope you enjoyed it

Nice application!

u wot?

Nice app, would consider another resto druid too in the future unless a few healers start becoming more reliable overnight. Might be worth finishing off that feral set too.

Would be great to get you in as social atleast for now.
