Hello, My name is Mark, I'm 36, not long finished a degree in psychology and neuroscience.  

I am currently working at a logistics company, and I'm looking for a guild to raid with for the remainder of the expansion and in to the next.

Class/Spec:

I am comfortable playing all specs on Deathknight.  At the moment the strength of Unholy makes it the most viable DPS spec, althought I suspect that DW frost will make a return with the AoE cleave fights coming in 6.2.  I am currently 701 equipped as Unholy and 2 handed frost, and I have mythic 1 handers in my bags ready for 6.2.  As Blood I am 699 equipped.

I'm using Nitrofuel and Breath of Sindragosa for single target fights, and Necroblight for multi target encounters with a priority on Festering Strike to keep Necrotic Plague ticking at 15 stacks on the maximum number of targets as soon as possible.  With Unholy I have a balance between Multistrike and Mastery for Single Target and AoE DPS, although this really has been gear dependent and I still have a few items to gain before I'm fully Bison both gear sets.

Main. JC and Eng.  Nitroboots and Goblin Glider.  Only thing really worth having in professions sadly.

I have Enchanting, inscription and tailoring at max on alts.

Raiding Experience:

Cata: Normal clears of BWD and BoT.
      Heroic clears of Firelands and DS

MoP: Normal clears of MVS, HoF and ToES (Although I did clear HC eventually)
     Heroic clear of ToT inc Ra-den
     SoO heroic clear

WoD: HM heroic, 5/7 mythic
     BRF 8/10 mythic

Previous Guilds:

Perception: Lost my raid spot after some time out to study at Uni.

Furious Wrist: The raiding environment was a bit unpleasant at times, wasn't really enjoying it.

Availability:

I work Monday-Friday 08:30 - 17:30.  I may occasionally have to work late, but I always know well in advance and would inform you of this.

Communication:

I English to the max!  I'm Scottish, Critorus may have to translate!

Computer / Connection:

Freshly built system.  Intel i74970, EVGA GTX970 graphics, Gigabyte motherboard, its a nice system.

Running a solid 97FPS at all times no matter what load of play it is under

I hear that the raiding is nice, with a focus on progress but still having fun and relaxing.

What can I offer Iron Edge?

I bring a level head, fun attitude and serious approach to play.  I don't get involved in drama, but stand up for what I believe is right.  I can admit when I'm wrong and can take criticism well.

On a more rss note, the progress is there, Aidan and Raph say good things and we can't go wrong.

Nice application, supremacy has pointed out we sit on the heavy me lee side at the moment so when mythic happens for hfc will be beeches for melee I'd assume, however you've listed a fair few alts, if asked to go range / healer would that be an issue or do you want to main with your  dk  only?

I notice your Mage is mythic ready and your shaman could easily join team straight away. My only other concern is recruiting mass former guilders despite what they vouch for them etc you can run risk of having a pre group clique in the team and if not happy can revolt leave and destroy a guild. Not saying it would but always gotta look from all angles. What is your preferred role and do you have logs and a ui screenie aswell to help the officers make a decision.

High attendance will be a must come mythic due to small roster so reliability has been an issue imho, will you be there throughout summer etc and plan no bbqs on raid days, this is important as our raid leader hates bbqs lol.

Hello, thanks for the forum access.

I have been playing DK for the last few years as a main, and would really prefer to have it remaining as a main main if you know what I mean.  Having said that, if needed to fill a different role I'd be happy to undertake healing or DPSing on a range character. 

If I was to paly as a range I would ask that you give me some time to improve performance on the class I'd be playing on.  While they are pretty well geared, I do feel like there is still much to be learnt.  I've got a solid grasp of DK, but as I'm sure you are aware with your own classes, gaining knowledge, understanding and tricks for each class can take time.

I don't have access to logs at the moment, but I can make some over the next day or so and post them up.
