Personal Info:

Hi my name is Lewis Jones, i am currently 20 years of age living in the north west of England. I am an electrical engineer apprentice for a metal detector company and i am currently working on my hnc qualification. I have been playing wow for 11 or so years now

Class/Spec:

I currently play Enhancement as i enjoy melee the most. I find enhancement a fun specc to play that has a nice change of rotations depending on the fight. My enhancement spec is currently 727 ilvl with a 725 off specc of Elemental

Stat priority for a enhancement shaman is Haste(50%)>Mastery>Multi strike>Vers>crit for secondary ststs with agility being the main stat. Rotation depending on talents (i use Unleashed Fury) so Unleashes elements> Lightning bolt with 5 maelstrom procs> Flame shock (2 elemental fusion)> Storm strike>Lava lash
Keep flame shock up with unleashed elements and 2 elemental fusion buffs up. Keep searing totem up if not using Cds. Never hit 2 charges of storm strike or lava lash with Echo of the elements talents with frost shock being used as a filler. In aoe (3 or more targets) change searing totem to magma, use chain lightning instead of lightning bolt and use fire nova instead of frost shock when you have spread your flame shock with lavalash

Talfling-Paladin (735 ilvl) current raiding main (10/13 mythic)
Tálf-Rogue (725 ilvl) (5/13 mythic) currently using for Xhul mythic progression

Professions:

Leather working and skinning my the shaman.
Enchanting and herbing on the rogue.
Blacksmith and mining on the paladin.
I like to be self efficient so i have 11 level 100 alts all with different professions so i don't have to spend money on the AH. I like to use professions that i believe fit the theme of my characters. Leather working makes mail armour that is why its on my shaman etc..

Raiding Experience:

Vanilla wow:
Talfor-Rogue-Iron edge- Dunemaul. Raided through MC all the way to AQ40. Couldn't raid Naxx because you needed reputation with Argent dawn which i never got due to being 9-10 years old and had school and a bed time.
TBC-Wrath:
Talfie-Epilogue-Dunemaul. raided all the way through TBC clearing everything upto Felmyst in SW. I believe at that time Epilogue was high ranking on the server possibly 6th? being second or third Alliance top guild. In WOTLK raided with Epilogue from start of Naxx to LK 25 man normal (Epilogue disbanded at this point) clearing hard mode Ulduar and hard mode TCC (No wipes)
Cata: Due to my age and the disbanding on Epilogue i went casual to focus on GCSE's in high school but managed to join a random guild (forgot the name) and cleared a bit of BOT and BWD.
MOP:
Talfor-Rogue
I was a little late to the M.O.P PVE scene as i was pvping mostly. Switched servers to horde Twisting neither and managed to clear all of ToT while it was current content on normal and 2 hc bosses. Moved on to SoO where i raid leaded the team to garrosh 10 man normal and 3 heroic bosses.
WOD:
Moved to Magtheridon Alliance to play with some IRL friends after the content drought of MOP:
Talfor-Rogue-Proud
Cleared HM HC and BRF hc (2 mythic)
Changed mains to a paladin due to boredom of the rogue after playing for so long and only wanting to play combat as it was my favourite specc (I hate sub with a passion) Cleared all of HFC HC and i am currently 10/13 mythic on progression with Xhul (2% wipes ) Raiding Xhul on my lower geared Rogue for clearing of fire and BH soaking for progression


Previous Guilds:

As shown in the previous tab (Raid experience) I was in Iron edge on Dunemaul as my rogue Talfor. The reason i left Iron edge was to raid with my Father who was known in Iron edge as Legolew who went Alliance in TBC. My Alliance Dunemaul guild was Epilogue who i raided with right upto when they disbanded the guild after our first LK 25 man kill due to a splintering of the raid team (Officers started to hate other officers) Which lead to me going casual.
Mildly intoxicated in MOP where i became an officer and eventually the GM and raid leader after ours went inactive. After our SoO Garrosh kill people couldn't be motivated to raid anymore which lead to the disbanding. I then moved to Magtheridon to play with IRL friends where we joined Proud and I raided with them ever since.

Availability:

I'm basically always available. The only time i am not available for raids is when i'm staying at my girlfriends who lives in Cornwall only twice or so a year since she goes to MMU near me.

Communication:

From Manchester in the North West of England so i speak well enough English. I have most communication devices and a head set. I do use my microphone when necessary during raids such as calling out. I also tend to sit on Ts in my spare time while playing WoW so i can speak to people then and socialise possibly.

Computer / Connection:

My PC is only 2 years old costing around £1200 in total so its good for now. English internet is always fabulous if you live in a town near a city (I do) and with BT infinity i should never have a problem.
Currently not on Kazzak so i wouldn't know of high ping but playing on Twisting neither i was perfectly fine which is just as high population i believe.

Why Iron Edge?

I like to be the best i can be at anything i do. Iron edge was my first home when i was in WoW. and i try to keep an eye on it. I just want to clear content on WoW with a good group of people, smashing bosses and having fun doing so. I believe Iron edge is what i am looking for

What can I offer Iron Edge?

Young minded Warcraft nerd that loves the lore of the game and has been playing wow for 11 years. I always know my class and know what i'm doing. I'm always online so i would be a social with the guild.

Thank you, I was only only following my father and went wherever he went during my younger years. Every guild I have been in besides Iron Edge I have stayed in till the guild has either disbanded or raiding is no longer feasible and only a few members log on a week. Loyalty is an important virtue to Myself.

Hey Talfor,

that's an impressive history you've got going there! I'm about your age but only started playing when I was 12. And I thought that was very young!
While your experience has been a bit lacking in the recent times, 10/13 hfc mythic is a good sign. UI is clean as well and you seem pretty dedicated to the game. Also I want to push the "You never really leave Iron Edge" narrative, even if you left more than a decade ago.
All in all, I'd really like to give you a trial in legion. You can already join the guild now if you like, just poke me or another officer ingame for an invite!
