Personal Info:

Hello! Im Håkon from Norway. I've been in Iron Edge earlier during your tenure on Dunemaul back in the day. At that point I was playing an Orc Shaman called Kergash, and played with you guys as a casual member.

Im 24 years old, currently studying to become an electrical engineer. So right now I'm just looking for a stable guild to horse around in and do some M+ and generally just have some fun!


Class/Spec:

At the moment Im playing a fury warrior (arms = no bueno), which is... fun. But Im enjoying it, I love how the spec works and plays in general, more fun for me than arms, even though arms is the stronger spec at this point in time.


Alts:

I'm also playing a Frost DK that I just leveled up. Trying to gear it up a bit to maybe throw through some M+ after a while. Its certainly an interesting class, but I do feel a bit squishy compared to my warrior.

Professions:

My warrior has Mining/Blacksmithing, which is a complete waste of time in my opinion, which makes me sad. I enjoyed making the swords and shit in TBC, kinda makes me sad that professions are the way they are right now.

Deathknight has Mining/Jewelcrafting, which is fun enough. Lots'a money going in from that, which is nice.

Raiding/PVP Experience:

I've not raided properly since WotLK to be honest. This expansion I've done Normal/HC EN, as well as Nythendra Mythic aaaand the fucking spider-boss almost downed.

PvP has never been my forte, so I have absolutely no experience there, and I should never be brought into a PvP-group.

Previous Guilds:

During this expansion I was part of the founding group of a guild called "Nerds" on Sunstrider, which fell apart during our Mythic Progression due to drama and a falling out between officers. I then got invited to a guild a few friends of mine had on Kazzak called "Kringlyd", which I joined, and then saw fall apart because of the same issues there. Drama and falling out between members and officers.

Availability:

Well, since I'm a casual Tauren, Im thinking this isnt that important. But Im mostly available any time, the studies Im doing atm aren't taking much of my time, so I'm mostly always available if Im not doing any RL-stuff or similar things.

Communication:

I am very proficient in english, I've got TS3, Discord and the whole bunch of Voice programs. I do have a microphone, and I enjoy using it.

Computer / Connection:

My computer is quite the solid beast, except for my GPU which is an old piece of shit. A good ol' GTX 760, which needs replacing soon, but you know, student money is no good. So we'll see. The rest of the computer is quite solid. i7 5820k Processor, 16GB of DDR4 Ram, SSD.

Addons/UI:

Im using ElvUI which I have modified to my tastes, and included some WeakAuras to keep track of CD's, and other things for my rotation so I dont have to stare at my action bar during fights, which then makes me stand in bad things and get yelled at.

Other Games:

I enjoy playing a bit of CS:GO, Tabletop Simulator, Space Engineers, The Witcher 3 and I enjoy playing a (not-so) friendly game of Civ V/VI.

Why Iron Edge?

I want to join IE because I remember you being a really friendly and awesome guild to be a part of, and I want to play more with my friend Arches as well as Vorte!

(Arches said he would vouch for me, so I hope he keeps his word)

What can I offer Iron Edge?

I can offer good moods and funny times. Or something like that. I can offer a really middle-of-the-tree warrior dps to your groups, but with good mechanics. I'm always up for mythics, LFR and such to have fun and increase our e-peen!

Where did I hear about Iron Edge?

I've been in your guild earlier, many moons ago, and before that I heard of it from Smutten, Vorte and Arches.
