Social Application - Shaman (DPS/Healer) - Dullindal
« on: June 18, 2020, 12:43:09 pm »
Hello, Iron Edge!

I am applying to be a social member.

Character: Dullindal
Armory: https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/character/eu/Kazzak/Dullindal
Class/Spec: Shaman (DPS/Healer)
Member Type: Social

Personal Info:

Devin, 30 years old from the Netherlands.

I work as a Developer, play tabletennis and spend most of my spare time gaming.

Class/Spec:

I play resto shaman in most group content, and elemental everywhere else.

I actually never played shaman till legion, but i was always a healer(even in other games).

Resto shaman is obviously not the strongest out there, but it has a lot of utility.
If there is nothing to heal, i can always contribute by purging, interupting or dpsing.

A big plus for shaman: Their dps spec is ranged. Something my paladin and monk lacked.

Alts:

Mistweaver Monk (120) My most played alt after shaman, i like the healing style, but thats about it.
Resto Druid(120) Mostly leveled it to try their healing style and get the Zandalari armor. I like the healing spec a lot, but i feel out of place when healing required is low.
Paladin(110) My legion main that i am about to level to 120 just to be ready for shadowlands. I fell out of love with the pink. But maybe ill find that love again once he reaches 120.

Professions:

Herbalism and will properly pick up a second profession once i know a bit more about Shadowlands.
I'm not into money making through the AH so i always went gathering profs and gave the mats to friends or guildies that could profit from them.

Raiding/PVP Experience:

Very little raiding experience outside LFR.
I did normal pugs on my paladin but i didn't like the pug world all that much.

But somehow i actually love doing N'zoth lfr. Its hard to get groups to do the right thing, but its a joy once you get people to do the proper thing.

I did some arena with 2 friends back in the days, but never found a new party to pvp with.

Previous Guilds:

Reign, BeNed.

Reign was my first guild where i did group content with guildies. Sadly their raid times weren't perfect for me. But i did join them for some reclears. (by that time it was mostly just a carry)
Guild just fell apart when people stopped playing WoW.

BeNed was a dutch guild, but i soon found out that most active players were irl friends, and they loved playing with that own group. So i was still mostly "alone"

Availability:

I work a normal 8-5 job.
I play tabletennis on the wednesday, but aside from that i'm free to do as i please.

Communication:

Its been a very long time since i had to speak in english.
I will most likely fumble some sentences at the start, but outside of that its no issue at all.
I have Discord right now, but Teamspeak is a few clicks away from being installed.

Computer / Connection:

My PC and internet are stable.
My pc is about 3 years old, and i'm actually planning to build a new one soon.
But thats mostly so i can give my current machine to the GF.

Addons/UI:

http://prntscr.com/t1zico (party frames)

http://prntscr.com/t1zirp (raid frames)

I'm not happy with the raidframes, but ill get to changing them once i start raiding.

The important addons:
Elvui, WA, Bigwigs, Details!, Raider.IO, Method Dungeon tools

Other Games:

League of legends, Rocket league.

Outside of those 2 its mostly single player games every once in a while.

Why Iron Edge?

I'm looking for a guild where i can grow.

I'm happy to start out as a social and working my way up to be a reliable part of any Raid or dungeon group.
You guys seem to be a group accepting all kinds of players, and it looks like the guild understands that a big part of growing ingame, is getting to know eachother on a "personal" level.

What can I offer Iron Edge?

Right from the start i'm open to help out with all kinds of content.
Somebody needs some help with M0? No problem.
You just need a healer to complete that M10? Yea, ofc ill join.
Do you guys need a replacement for the raid? If i'm on, ill be there.

I'm a relaxed guy, i am patient and understanding.
If i underperform you can tell me, if we wipe a 100 times, no worries, i can handle it.
Its basicly impossible to get me angry, especially ingame.

Where did I hear about Iron Edge?

Actually the ingame guildfinder.

Last Words?

If you have any questions you can add me on discord or battlenet and i'm willing to answer almost anything.
