MEET THE SANDVICH!

Devlin · August 23, 2008, 05:25:27 AM

Metallicas first single titled The Day That Never Comes, from their new album, Death Magnetic.

Inphy · August 23, 2008, 08:28:28 AM

Sounds like all the other metallica songs to me.

Daekesh · August 23, 2008, 01:31:58 PM

Have to say it's not one of their best songs. Give Unforgiven III. The first 2 were awesome.

Gaeios(Graxlos) · August 23, 2008, 02:00:54 PM

Uninspired and very fragmented imo.

Seems like they have had a lot of ideas for riffs and such. but could never decide on a melody. So it seems more like a 4 or 5 songs mixed together.
At times it feels like a mix of a handful og old metallica songs combined to one big mess.
With really uninspired lyrics.

EDIT: Pretty funny though. it really gives me an urge to listen to the old stuff.

delling · August 23, 2008, 02:57:46 PM

The beginning sounds sooo like House of the Rising Sun...

Daekesh · August 23, 2008, 02:59:04 PM

The beginning is one of the bits I actually like!

Guanoape · August 23, 2008, 03:29:44 PM

They should stop making albums. Originality was thrown out the window years ago it seems.

delling · August 24, 2008, 04:01:49 AM

This is a really, really good student music video/project dubbing a fun song.
