Meatloaf ftw!

delling · September 25, 2007, 03:41:18 PM

Gah, one of the most epic songs ever made.

Number #1 in the UK for aaaages.

Mind you, they only played a 4-5 minute version on the radio, and not the full 8-9 minute jobby :)

Smorisha · September 25, 2007, 04:19:50 PM

I never understood back of it, was it made for some movie or what?
When I saw it first time I was stunned, it was like... ages ago.
Song is truly epic and video is teh win, I love the lights in it and directing too.
Anyone knows who is the chick in the video?

Daekesh · September 25, 2007, 04:25:54 PM

It's just his style of music video. Jim Steinman is an epic song writer!

delling · September 25, 2007, 04:45:18 PM

Yeah, he's definitely the kind of guy that does what he wants, and thinks about the repercussions later.

The original Bat Out Of Hell was like 9 minutes too.

Just goes on and on and on...

He has some great tunes actually. The album that 'I would do anything...' comes from is mostly excellent... even with some weird monologue stuff where he talks about smashing his guitar over his father...

Vorte · September 25, 2007, 04:49:45 PM

Bat out of hell is definetly one of my top 5 songs of all time. That girl is norwegian btw!
