Hi!

Okay, so someone had the brilliant idea of giving something back to the community this Christmas, and so here it is.

Three contests, two of which will be discussed here.

1) The treasure hunt - 22nd December, 16:00

3) Artistic/creative competition - Ends midnight 31st December.

Quick Prize Draw
Simply REPLY TO THIS THREAD with a creative reason of why you should receive a prize from Great Father Winter. You can keep it simple, or you can give us an entire paragraph. You need only reply to this thread to enter this competition.

There will be 3 winners for this competition. The top prize will most likely be chosen by the guild leaders of IE, and the lower prizes could be random-drawn.

• 1st Place - Your choice of epic gem -- any colour.
• 2nd Place - Your choice of a blue, green or yellow epic gem.
• 3rd Place - A green epic gem! (I know, sucks.)

Artistic/Creative Competition
Okay, this one's slightly more interesting. You have to CREATE something. A screenshot, a movie, a comic, a short story -- something you've spent time to create.

The idea is for it to be CHRISTMAS-THEMED. To be honest, it doesn't have to be particuarly Christmassy. Just something cool -- either IE-related, or Dunemaul-related. Something that you've obviously spent time on to look/feel neat. That's all!

The prizes for this one are larger --

• 1st Place - Crafted epic haste shoulders or* bracers of your choice.
• 2nd Place - 2 Heart of Darkness!
• 3rd Place - Your choice of epic gem -- any colour.

* If we have significant interest in this competition it will be bracers AND shoulders! Both! That's like... more than 3k gold!

Well, O'ld mr Winter should bring me a present this year to reaffirm my good nature and nicety. of late I've been on the old money and honour trail...farming items..slaying allies fo any level who might be in my way..or mayebe a little out of my way and all in all losing my halo. 

Once there was a time I would help lowbie allies out of good nature, seek out honourable fights and relish the struggles of equal combat. Now I'm as mean as scrooge ganking allies on half health all cos they earn me honour...

Well, I think I should get a present from Great Father Christmas, because back in the day, the old days... the really old days, back when BWL was hard, and IE whore ½ blues I decided to spend some money. I decided to buy a brand new game, and some gametime, only so I could create a character on the horde side, and talk to people.
I got into IE as an alt, fair enough. I leveled it a bit, talked on the IE TS (yes, they had a TS back then, noobs ), but eventually, I stopped playing that mage, I can't seem to recall why anymore, but I probably had an awesome reason.

Anyway, some time later, I log on and see that my alt has been kicked for inactivity, I cried a bit, and I think that to heal the wound in my soul, a present would be a good thing!

Oh and I love IE and Christmas bla bla bla etc.
