Its funny how things change, when I was a teenager everyone hated some politicians, the girls were usually leftwing radicals hating the conservatives being hippies all of them.
The guys I hung around with were usually midly leftwing and we were actually spending a lot of time discussing what was happening in the world and what should be done.

Now a days it sounds like life is too hard and too complicated for young people to even take an interest in how the world is run and what is going on, I guess that is why GW Bush can win an election even after he has shown everyone that he is turning the world in to shit

Well majority of the serious protesters are not lucky as Gandhi. Many of them is murdered or tortured in most of the countries (by most I mean non-european). And leg don't forget about the cultural revolution and red guards. Young people are much easier to control and provoke.

However, convincing older ppl that things aren't exactly as they think it is, is actually alot harder. We have a saying in Denmark that goes: You can't teach an old dog new tricks.

hehe fatalbone im not telling people to take to the streets just yet, Im just hoping that people will take an interest in the world around them.
Perhaps try to form an opinion about current events and issues. Instead of just being emo and not caring about the world and what happens in it.
