Hey all , I guess this is my much delayed apply, which probably should have been made before I got the luscious new title from algalon ^^

Personal info

My name is Daniel and I live in the South coast of England, soon to be moving to southampton to go to University. I'm fairly hardworking, and hopefully a pretty decent guy if you get to know me. (will probably seem quiet at first ^^)

Character Info
My character is primarily an unholy DPS DK for raiding, though I can spec blood/frost when the raid buffs are required or if these specs are more suited to the encounter.
My armory is ;

As an unholy DK I bring to the raid Curse of elements spread over AE targets (with ideally 100% uptime, or I'm not doing something right. ) A 3% crit debuff which is spread with the same disease , aswell as crypt fever which boosts disease damage of the other DKs and spriests by 30%.

Furthermore it is one of the most superior AE melee specs, as seen in Paragorns kill of anub hc 25, and during some trash pulls (like the hodir trash ^^).

Raiding

This is the risk, the fact I'm going to be going to university means I'm going to have about a weeks downtime at the start, but my hall should be big enough for my desktop so I'm hoping to take it with. I will be able to raid on the raid days and go out at the weekends (or during the day, when I'll have like 1 hours lectures.) My course isn't going to be THAT demanding, especially in the first year so I should have a lot of free time. Playing wow will also save me money from going out ^^

More specific times:
Rather than specifying specific days, as it is too early to really know, I will hope I'll be available during all raiding days, and hopefully also the occasional offday during the day if required for 10mans.


Gaming/Wow History

Well i first got introduced to MMORPGs, with runescape (if you dare to call it an mmorpg). I played this as friends at school did, and this got me interested in the genre. After having bled that terrible game of all it's worth, I moved onto guildwars and xbox360, and some counterstrike and RTS games , but nothing terribly competitive.

My WoW career started at the dying days of TBC , when I was leveling my warlock. Near the same time my warlock was reaching level 50~ WOTLK was released. I upgraded my game, and rerolled dk before I even hit 60 (Hero class first level 60...).

Since then I have learnt the game very fast, and advanced through progression and leveling guilds to reach a standard of playing which hopefully makes me eligible for a spot in a top guild such as this. But none the less I understand why TBC / sunwell experienced is so valued, but hopefully I've proven that players can succeed without it.

My progress in wotlk is, most 10 man hardmodes cleared (the difficult ones bar 1 light in particular). 25 man ulduar progress is fairly limited but I don't seem to struggle as I'm aware of tactics from the 10 man versions.

Algalon 25 realm first too, I guess you didn't know about that right?

Why do I want to join IE

I want to join a guild that requires my servies as a raider and appreciates my contribution. I have raided with IE for about a week now and I have enjoyed the experience. The leading seems really efficient, people listen to what to do and progress is made.

What do I offer to IE ?

Whilst at first I'll most probably appear shy, I offer a player who is a fast learner and dedicated to the game. I'm willing to do any job or play any spec the raid requires and help the guild push into the hardest content of the game.

Yeah you could say that ^^. It's a pretty decent uni for my chosen subject (albeit a female one..) and travel costs stay pretty low for when I do decide to go between.

Also I hear the north is a scary place, people like intrinsic live there.
