Personal Information

Hi, I'm Paul. I'm 24 years old, live in The Netherlands and I just got back from a break from wow. I'm engaged, work in an organic foodstore, studying homeopathy and running/starting up my own practise at the moment. I've been gearing up quite nicely this month but I miss the raiding experience I had in vanilla and early Wotlk at the moment. Most people on Dunemaul don't seem to know what they're doing. And as long as IE has existed I know you guys know how to press 5 buttons in the right order and farely fast learners. I count myself as one of those people and would like to join your club.

As you can see I'm quite active (and bored lately).

Raiding
Raiding 2 days a week is just what I'm looking for at the moment. Not too hardcore, time for studies and work. I never come unprepared, and really aint a fan of waiting for people who didnt buy flasks before coming to the raids. I haven't cleared IC yet seeing as my current guild seems incapable of any progress at the moment, and lacks the motivation to improve on this.

Gaming (optional) and World Of Warcraft history
I've been into games as long as I can remember. I've been a professional gamer for 4 years playing Counter-strike, played the game for 10 years. Started playing wow quite some time after its release, didn't want to join the hype at first. Joined Ravenous back then and got the chance to down ragnaros second on the realm.. and I believe it was first on onyxia (gotta love those 40men whipes and 15 minutes of walking back and buffing up)... I got warlord together with Doomblade just before the burning crusade patch hit. Would have been high warlord that week if the patch didnt show up.

Skipped the entire burning crusade, but wanted to check out WotlK. Got back to dunemaul, got back into Ravenous a year ago but real life issues forced me to quit playing in september.

Like I said, been back a month now.. Gearing up quite nicely atm.

Why do you want to join Iron Edge?

Always seen IE as a guild full of people that know what they're doing and are willing to help people. I don't want a gear boost, I won't ask for freebees, just don't like the selfishness most people have while playing WoW... HC runs always go better with one or two IE members in it, gives people confidence and brings up the best in most players.

What can I offer to Iron Edge?
Ingame: high DPS, Focus, fun, jokes.
Offgame: Great cooking recepies, jokes... health advice, amateur porn?
Real life: need a place to stay? Welcome for a day or two .

bad news is your gear is slightly under the level of raiding we are at.
2 really bad trinkets
pvp legs

also we have 3 stable rogues in the b raid at the moment, not really sure we have room for you.

yep, gear is still not quite there yet. Was on Naxx/ulduar10m last month though. Those trinkets can be replaced in a week. Got 75 emblems now. WIll have sanc. headpiece next week... could buy trinket first though but don't feel like it'll boost me as much as the head at this point.

I'm doing everything possible to get the gear ASAP. drops aint helping, neither are the idiot-filled pugs

DO not buy headpiece t10  before trinket for badges !Legs should get 1st imo , Sanctuary ones and then can go for trink.
(Sanctuary headpiece get last from badges if going for it at all)
This all is if gonna stay mutilate , for combat is other story

Also as muti should be expertise capped even if that requires gemming.(but if take legs 1st t10 will solve that problem i guess).Your gear is not that bad if change Legs&trinks and regem ap instead of ArP.(on belt that is,ArP is crap for Muti wondering why gemed it)

I was combat a week ago Hence the ArP, still waiting for 60 emblem belt or some better drop.

Decent application, and you did get some good response.
But we do have three rogues allready, and imo you are undergeared for ICC25 man hard modes. If this was before we killed LK, and we were still progressing in 25 man normal mode then it COULD work. But now?... hardly.

Edit: Oh, and you should never gem for 20 AP & 15 stam btw. You got the 10+ stats gem so other blue gems are just waste

sorry to hear that, but it was worth a shot. Thx for the tips for the gems and gear.  I'll be changing gems and gear this month anyway. Shouldn't be a problem with 80+ emblems a week. Current guild isn't really helping with the dkp system though :p. Just had some old gems in my bank for this gear, I know the gemming is aweful :x

If for some reason you guys are in need of a rogue who knows how to play his class look me up. I'm farming gear as fast as I can. Other tips are more than welcome.
