think from this side.i have chest which is have 83defance.i buy tier chest and ill lost it.also if i craft boot i'll lost 50 defance from there too which is making 130defance at total.
130 defance = 6x 20defance raiting gem.its mean loosing 180stamina from gems.Also no argent proc which is over power in this game.i dont think it is worth to make it from this calculate
About waiting loot its not like that mate.u can see from mage that.have low gear but i have crafted feet on it.also on dk druid too.even on my paladin for dps have a leather crafted dps feet.

I have to echo what kili said really, your stats are worse than my 10-man geared alt protadin.  LK HC and Halion hit quite hard :(

Played 6 days.Which is making out seems like i have low experiance on paladin.İ have been playing over 4years as a tank since when i start to lvl my first char till now.i just stoped playing with my warrior and turned to paladin for Cataclyzm.
About tanking and getting hit from bosses.still i have no problem about getting hard hits or getting non stop hits.u cah check this from my stats.
Armor : 33175  (13 armor = 1 stamina)
Dodge : 27.44
Parry : 22:07
Block : 11.04
With currently gear and i remember when icc comes out i did kill all hardmodes in 10man before hellscream buff with full togc gear.including half of the 25man hardmodes.
Now there is %30buff.

will you keep on getting the proffs and crafted items for your paladin in the future? you have quite alot of alts and few people can keep a high standard on their main when they always try go gear their awsome warlock or druid. Will your change to a prot paladin just stick or will you change back to some of your alts by the time we've geared you up?

(i think i quoted something hugman said to iamfish/bobcat/whatever the dk was named before he joined, atleast the Braiders know how that turned out(he plays a mage on stormreaver these days))

Nah.i stick on my char which i play in any guild.im not that kinda guy gearing alt and leaving.if i was that kinda guy i would like to migrate my pala to Sunstrider for that 11/12 25man hm pugs and gear up mate.im just looking foward for cataclyzm and wanna be part of one decent guild.

Off topic, i call this bullshit, im pretty sure they dont just gather 25 people and go hc icc25. Its like everyone in IE leaving the guild but keep on raiding.

Actually on some servers there's a large icc25 hc pug community.  Dunemaul is too small to support it, though.

Indeed servers like sunstrider and outlands have pugs and/or gdkp runs doing 11/12HC.

P.S : (13 armor = 1 stamina) yea if u gonna make 13+ armor or if u gonna get 1+ stamina it's same thing.its able to calculate between stamina and dmg reduce from armor.

Theres no such thing like Ardent Defender cap. If you actually read the talent, it clearly states "amount healed based on defense" but does not overheal after the defense cap. Basicly u'll still get the proc and heal amount difference will me marginal.

Do spell hits mitigate by armor? Letme make it clear, NO. Thats why Stamina is the king now. You are talking about effective health here but making no point. Effective health is a concept which is calculated through your total stamina, mitigation and avoidance, thus a number representing your survival regarding melee hits. Even though 30% icc radiance, stamina still gives a wider frame of opportunuty to healers specially at progress fights than armor do.
Anyway we know Araid needs belf hotties like this and not much choices at summer, unfortunately.

About this.If u check well about tanking calculates u can see this my mate.13 Armor = 1 stamina allways.let me give u example.
U have 1000 hp -100 armor.Normaly mob hits u for 10dmg.
U made 1000 hp -113 armor.Now mob hits u 99.
U made 1001 hp -100 armor.Here mob hits u still 10dmg but u have 1hp extra from start.
Thats how its works.i hope u understand from this.

For Argent defender yea there is no such a thing argent defender cap for proc.But...If u want it to proc with 5k hp yea u can go with 500 or lower defance.If u hold it on 540 defance it will allways proc 15k+ u can feel free to try it.
P.S : its up to ur total hp also like writing on talent but still based on defance.
