Spec:Playing with Assassination at the moment, been as my best weapons are 2 dagger. My off spec is quite random depending on what i want to do, at the moment its Sub for pvp but changes frequently
Class:Can you show us that you understand your class? What stats do you go for with your spec? What rotation/priority system do you use?
Its quite hard to show i understand my class without showing in game, but my play style is definitly boss fights with my spec, going with bleed effects are main dots for dps.
The stats that i go for mainly is of course agility and also i like to maintain hit capped as well as spell hit capped (for poisons ext), from there mastery and haste provide me my best dps after testing on dummies and doing a lot of reforging
My main rotation depends on health percentage of the boss, because of murderous intent giving me 30 energy at health below 35% when using backstab. I always keep up rapture and SnD, with that i mutilate to at least 4 combo points and envenom unless the percentage is below 35% then i always go for 5combo points..While doing this im of course using cooldown with one of my favourites being vanish for overkill which is a major bonus in long fights.
Alts:Im an new to the server so my rogue is my only 85, but the alts on the server are a 58 warrior which i plan to level whilst nothing to do on rogue (i.e waiting for wednesday ^^)
Professions:Im preparing to get LW and Skinning up at the moment
Raid Experience:My main experience of wow was in wotlk, with a 80 shadow priest doing ICC(and HC) 3 nights per week in an active guild, of course my role was being dps. Also with BC i played as a paladin tank doing everything from karazhan to black temple but honeslty wasnt the best player at the time mostly because of age. In catacalysm, i only done first patch content fully as in BWD, BoT, and Totfw. Also i have cleared only a few bosses in firelands been as at the time i was focusing on a mage doing pvp with an pvp guild.
Previous Guilds:The guild i am in at the moment is vicious, the reason for leaving is they are planning to become full turkish and therefore dont want to include me in their plans. I am sorry to say i actually cannot remember the name of my wrath guild all i know is we played on kilrogg as horde.
Availability:Available on all weeknights on a regular basis, the only time i would miss a night would be down to out of the ordinary occassions such as birthdays and what not. My work will not interfere with raiding times as the evenings is when i play any way.
Communication:I have all VoIP applications installed on my machine and have a clear headset, and being english myself i cant fault my language skills
Computer / Connection:My computer is a custom built machine, starting with a 6core AMD processor, with a GTX 560(dual), 8gb ram, 80gb solid state drive, 1000W power supply. It runs WoW easily with max fps of 60 due to my refresh rate of screen (which is a 24" monitor), also my connection is done with a CAT 6 ethernet cable, and the only time i disconnect is if i physically disconnect or my provider goes down, which isnt likely at all tbh.
Addons/UI:My addons are the basic addons for raiding such as DBM, recount, IIT(for my interupts), also have a few rogue specific addons such as poisoner and CD timers for my bleeds such as rapture ext. I cannot supply a picture of my UI at the current time due to the browser im using. However, there is nothing to see been as its the WOW default UI, which i actually like because due to my ROCCAT gaming mouse and keyboard i have all the macros and extra buttons i need to not have to click anything whilst playing allowing me to have better control of my abilities, espeicially with my mouse buttons which are a major bonus.
Other Games:I have various games through steam such as games like skyrim and many more which i play from time to time whilst not on wow.
Why Iron Edge?I want to join Iron Edge, been as i am currently looking for a good guild to guide me in the right direction and hopefully be able to help Iron Edge within the future. Another reason is i was talking to a member of Iron Edge (tarin) today and got chatting and was probably the friendliest guy ive met in a long time on wow, and was a real help for me applying to this guild.
What can I offer Iron Edge?At the current moment, i can not offer Iron Edge a lot, due to my gear not being up to scratch but with this application in mind i will continue to carry on gearing and hopefully one day become a valuable member to the guild, and help towards progression within the guild. I have a great understanding of tactics within raids (and lets face it, its not the most challenging of tasks since cata especiially),
