[Casual Raid] Shaman (Heal) - Guugle
« on: September 29, 2012, 02:09:41 am »
Hello, Iron Edge!

Character: Guugle
Armory: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/Dunemaul/Guugle/advanced
Class/Spec: Shaman (Heal)
Raid: Casual Raid

Personal Info:

Name is Ken, 24years old, living in Norway and studying for an engineer.

Spec:

Im aiming to play a healer, cause thats something I always wanted but never got the chance to cause my guild wanted me to play as a tank or dps.

Offspec would be elemental shaman.

Class:

Blizzard have almost removed every aspect of these kind of things, but as the MoP healing havent been tested 100% properly yet my prio would be

Intellect
Some spirit until I have happy with my passive manaregen
Haste rating until I reach the soft cap.
Mastery
Crit

Might go for more crit than mastery cause of the chance to get back mana, but thats something I figure out when the raiding begins for real in MoP.

Alts:

I have my main Warrior wich have become an alt now. Named Phemedes on Outlands, I have a 85 mage and a paladin.

Professions:

Since my shaman have been an alt becoming a main I havent decided wich proffesion I should boost. But there have to be 2 crafting proffesions cause of the stats bonuses.

Raid Experience:

I started raiding in Vanilla from Molten Core and so on until TBC came out. Took a break and came back in WOTLK. Where I started raiding from ToC to ICC and ofcourse I started playing cata for the first 3months if I remember correctly.
Ofcourse...this isent really great "experience" wise. But trust me, its more than enough to understand everything quite easily.

Previous Guilds:

My previous guild was "Leaf Pattern" in the beginning of Cata. We did very good for a 10min guild, was top3 on Dunemaul actually. But we struggled with the 10man balance Id say. Reason why I left was basically because I was about to build myself a house. Mission Accomplished.

Availability:

I am available every day, exept Friday and saturday during the winter. Reason for that is because I am a sucker for snowmobiles :)

Allthough, I am not gone every weekend during the winter either...

Communication:

I can speak and write good enough english, atleast I think so myself :)
And yeah, teamspeak 3 is no problem.

Computer / Connection:

My computer is very upto date. I have 100/10mb connection wich is very stable unless a excavator goes crazy somewhere in town. Actually happend once :( Was a 2hour downtime!

Addons/UI:

For addons I use;

grid
bartender
recount
omen
dbm

I dont have a screenshot of my UI right now, but if its really important thats something I can fix, ofcourse.

Other Games:

Other than WoW I play DotA, HoN and Starcraft2.

Why Iron Edge?

I mean...why not?
Seems stable, guild is progressing, talked with some nice people. For me, thats more than enough :)

What can I offer Iron Edge?

I can offer a stable player who is working hard to improve my own gameplay and contribute to the guild in term of raiding progress and such things.

Where did I hear about Iron Edge??

Heard a guy bragging about you so I figured thats something for me.

Last Words?

last words before I get grilled...hmm...

My previous main was Phemedes on Outlands.
And please PM me for further questions if needed.
And there is only casual raiding applicationforms out right?

Try me out... you got nothing to lose :)

I like your application and from the talk we had today you seem like a genuinly nice guy, plus we're  looking for a resto shaman.

I'll see if anyone else has anything to say but its a yes from me.

Also - how are you playing your offspec? I noticed you said your other guild made you dps or tank and you didnt like that. Would you be okay occasionally playing elemental if the time came? This is something pretty much all the healers have to do.

Also - we raid mondays and thursdays, is that enough for you?

Mainly i asked because of the "And there is only casual raiding applicationforms out right?" in your app.

The current raid we have is 25 man mon/thur
