« on: April 25, 2013, 11:45:24 pm »
Hello, Iron Edge!

Class/Spec: Priest (DPS/Heal)
Raid: Casual Raid

Personal Info:

Spec:

i am Disc mainly but that's only because im playing pvp as a disc priest.. but i dont care what spec i am.. but my gear is Disc in PvE and PvP.. PvE gear is at 483 atm...

my offspec is Shadow.. just for quests and stuff.. for more dmg.

Class:

ehm.. i dinged lvl 90 6 days ago so im not that experienced with priest.

I Use AskMrRobot alot.. and i fully trust it.

i dont have a rotation atm.. never raided with this char and LFR is lame there is no rotation in LFR there is just faceroll.

Alts:

This char is my alt

i have a 90 Hunter (sucks)

and my Main is a Paladin "name - Tórgrímilli" u can look at armory. he is also ready for raiding if we need tank.. i wont play any other spec with my paladin hes at 507 Ilvl

Professions:

this priest was boosted of my old account from lvl 1 to 80 so i dont have any proffesion with this priest. But full Blacksmith with paladin

Raid Experience:

Not with this priest.

i was raid leader with my paladin (tank) in "The Legacy"

i am experienced with all bosses MSV HOF TOES (first too Council in TOT) we didnt get further before we disbaned our raid team.

Previous Guilds:

The Legacy

i left because we didnt have enough raids running..

ppl didnt show for raid and stuff so we disbaned it

Availability:

i am available for 2 days a week.. problem is that i have a child and a GF

but if it is planed i can raid 2 days a week and that is perfect with this guild :)

Communication:

i have evrything

i can download teamspeak

Computer / Connection:

nothong

evrything is good

Addons/UI:

Omen ( Tank )

Xperl

Why Iron Edge?

heard good things about this guild.. and it's faroese frendy :)

What can I offer Iron Edge?

imba tank

Where did I hear about Iron Edge??

Maybe you should really be reading up on your "class" before applying to raid with it.

Even in LFR and hc you can practise your rotations .. i dont rock up to a lfr and not use my cool downs ..

with 2 mins of research iv found your healing rotation for disc..

http://www.icy-veins.com/discipline-priest-wow-pve-healing-spec-builds-talents-glyphs

You have no gems or enchants ..

You have a whole lot to fix on your character and understanding of the priest before you even have a shot at  a trail.

Doom?
The only man foolish enough to roll a DK tank.

F*CKING ABYISS!!!!!!!

I think we spoke a while ago while you were playing your paladin, but this application is not really serious at all.

If you want to apply for raiding with a character you dont start by telling
"Hey guys Im undergeared, I dont know how to play this class and I didnt bother leveling professions."

Bears like alts!

IE is a friendly guild, that's correct. About your application, I think it is honest. However, if u want to raid (even it is casual) u need to level professions... Just like grax called it. I think u leveled it in dungeons with a disc spec. So, u "should" be awaere of your class / role. I didn't get it tbh. In this situation i will vote no as a member.

Doom?

Yeah, this.

Generally as a healer you don't have a set "rotation" so to speak - but here's an idea of the kind of answer I expect the current raid officers would have wanted:

Although generally as a healer you don't have a set "rotation" you have certain things to prioritize, especially as disc. I will be monitoring my rapture to maximize the mana I can get back from it, while also making sure prayer of mending is constantly bouncing and always sitting on 5 stacks of evangelism. Other than that I will try and pre-emptively shield and stack absorbs on the raid depending on incoming damage.

But as you said you haven't played this priest much yet, still doesn't hurt to know what you've got to do (putting it into practise is different)

I will be more than happy to help you with any disc related questions but to be honest you have some very tough competition since the disc that is currently in the 25 man is quite good.
