Spec:

Holy is my main spec, shadow my off spec. I primarily play holy as a healer; my shadow gear isn't nearly as good. My holy gear is 527, shadow is 518 but with quite bad stat distribution, due to using some of my holy pieces.

Class:

Well, on my healing gear I've gone mostly haste/spirit due to the fact that I've been healing a 10man team for a few months. In a 25man raid I'd get slightly more output with mastery/crit, but the difference is hardly noticeable. I have more than enough spirit to practically never run out of mana.

As shadow I'd max haste>crit until i got the Lei Shen trinket, after which i'd max haste>mastery.

More than 5? MIND SEAR! And halo i guess, unless i have to stand on top of them, in which case divine star is better.

Alts:

Assassination rogue called Sadopuff with 513 ilvl, a shit blue geared warrior that I never play on, and some lowbies that are irrelevant.

Professions:

Tailoring/enchanting, all available recipes that are in the game atm.

Raid Experience:

Oh this'll be fun.

I raided with a norwegian guild called Niflheim for many years in vanilla/TBC, did everything in vanilla up to Loatheb in naxx 40, everything up to (but not including) Illidan in TBC. Then took a break from wow, came back in wrath and did all of naxx 25 and most of ulduar 25 with the same guild. Later I Only casually raided 10man in wrath. Did not really raid at all in cataclysm. I've now cleared 12/12 normal ToT 10 man.

In vanilla and TBC I only played Warrior, since then I've mostly played my priest, both shadow and holy at different times.

Previous Guilds:

Last guild of note I was in was the 10man guild I was in with Bendie, Lethys and Moon. When we started progressing in heroic, people stopped showing up to raids, so we decided to look for greener pastures. And frankly I lost all faith in our old guild master.

Availability:

I'm looking for a part time day job, shouldn't interfere with raiding.

Communication:

I speak almost fluent English, albeit with an odd accent at times. I have TS3 and a headset with a microphone.

Computer / Connection:

I have a top notch gaming computer, a fiber optic internet connection. I only have slight delay, 100-200ms, in big cities, normally less than 50ms in raids. I rarely ever lag or disconnect, and when I do, it's probably not because of my internet.

Addons/UI:

I use ElvUI, recount, bigwigs, ExtraCD and mik's scrolling battle text primarily.

Other Games:

All of them? As for current online games, I play dota 2, I played Heroes of Newerth for years and years, though quit a while back because i've got nobody to play it with. Play Starcraft 2 occasionally, used to be plat in solo ladder but mostly play 2v2s and 3v3s nowadays. Been on and off a bunch of other MMOs but never for long.

Why Iron Edge?

I'd like to raid 25 man regularly and progress through heroic, without being too hardcore about it. You guys seem to fit the bill and also seem professional and mature.

What can I offer Iron Edge?

Proper execution of encounter mechanics, competent healing, maturity enough to realize and admit when I fuck up. And a possibly slightly introverted personality. :>

Though, damn, that is a lot of haste, I must ask you why do you choose to double the haste cap rather than make echo of light more useful?

Mostly because when I raided 10man, I did so with a disc priest and a paladin healer, and saw the vast majority of my echo of light ended up being overhealing, so my logic was that I'd rather have faster heals on demand when I needed them. Not entirely sure if that was the right call, but it seemed to work out just fine, and I couldn't find any good arguments to the contrary anywhere on the interwebs.

It probably feels quite different to heal 25man though. I imagine I'll be going for a lower haste breakpoint and reforge the rest into mastery in the future, I just have to take the time to sit down and work out how much I want.

Also, having faster spellcasts in general is fun ._.

you're right, echo of light is not as important in a 10 man raid, still usefull though. But no more 10 man healing

For 25 man, I highly recommend you only go for soft cap in haste. I only go for the 3039 cap, but 2nd one is 4721, if you prefer that.

It's probably also worth mentioning that as a 10man healer, renew is kind of a big deal, which increases the value of haste since mastery has no effect on renew.

As Holy in 25man you shouldn't go for any haste cap and just go full on masteryboy tbfh (/imo).

But yeah, if you can heal 10man as a holy priest I'm sure you will do very well in 25man. Thumbs up here too. Just too bad you aren't Dutch which screws up our masterplan of slowly getting a whole Dutch healing team.
