Hello, my name is Dylan Steen and I'm a 21 y/o student finishing up his final year. living in Ostend, Belgium. I study Computer Science.

Class/Spec:

I'm currently playing my Monk Brewmaster after coming back from a pretty long break from WoW.

The reason I played Monk was because we needed one as MoP hit and I decided to take one for the team and level one.

I never stopped reading about my class or any class really, I always have and most likely always will have excellent knowledge about the general game mechanics and most class mechanics.

Alts:

90 shaman
90 warrior
numerous alts at all kinds of levels

Professions:

Currently running Mining/JC

I know this is not optimal but to be frank it didn't really matter at the time due to not really having time to get 2 crafting professions up and needing to rush to 90

Raiding/PVP Experience:

I've raided for as long as I can remember. Started late vanilla being introduced to MC at lvl58 where I got an epic BoE head drop for my Shaman. This is something I'll never forget.

Raiding went serious for me after TBC hit, clearing Kara, Gruul. Mag. SSC(except for Vashj because we couldn't into bubbles), TK, MH and some BT. Never did get to Sunwell which was unfortunate. I was also raid leader during my designated group of Karazhan.

WotLK was when my attendence started dropping as I started to focus more on schoolwork. I raided some of Naxx but was dissapointed by the difficulty it posed, and I took this as the standard for the entire expansion, which led me to raid casually with friends.
Due to this I missed out on Ulduar and everything following.

Cataclysm I came back to try and raid again but once again academics forced me to spend most of my times studying instead of slaying dragons, same story here as above

MoP really didn't work out for me, due to the guild I dropped my main for underperfoming in MSV and generally losing attendance.

And now here we are.

Previous Guilds:

None on Kazzak really, migrated here from other servers over a period of years.

Availability:

I usually get online at 5 pm CET and stay online untill 12pm-1am (if there's something to do, that is)

Communication:

I consider myself very proficient in English and am not afraid to speak on voice com.

Computer / Connection:

I keep my setup as optimal as possible as it is my most used tool for everything I do. My connection is stable.

Addons/UI:

I use a basic combination of ElvUI, DBM, WA and Skada

Other Games:

Dark Souls (who Dark Souls 2 hype here?)
MGS series(love this series to death)
Pokemon
Any rpg that looks good and isn't made by Bioware

Why Iron Edge?

I mainly want to join Iron Edge because my father, Warlockmarre, is a guild member. I've heard nothing but good things about this guild, I like the attitude of trying hard but still remaining relaxed about everything.

What can I offer Iron Edge?

Right now I can't offer much except for my being here. I was considering applying as a raider but I figured there isn't much point as I am far too behind on gear to be any sort of asset and my application would merely be a waste of time for you to read.

I will however most likely be rerolling to another class for the next expansion, as my studies will be completed and I'll have lots of time to get back into raiding. I hope this doesn't but a negative light on this application, as I would hope to be able to join with this new character when I make it.

Where did I hear about Iron Edge??

As mentioned, Warlockmarre has mentioned and I have seen raids of yours.

I've never been good at these last words bits, mostly because I already said most of what I had to say, I think.

If anything I'd just like to thank you for reading this application and I hope you can consider me as a potential member. If anything I would really like to get accustomed to the guild and guild members.

And I hope that if this application is succesfull I can try to apply as a raider when WoD hits.

Heheh, I see you live near Bruges. I guess that makes you a Dutch-speaking Belgian though. French would have been a little more exotic.
