Hello my name is Koorosh Karamloo I'm a 23 years old male ... Im a chill guy my hobbies are playing games  and working out or seeing my friends at a smoking bar near by once a day Im not the kind of guy to go to parties or get drunk with friends ( I do drink with friends with once every few months ) what I mean is I spend my free time either on my PC or in the gym . Im currently studying psychology and will finish soon after that Im planing on applying for my masters degree most likely some where in euro .

Class/Spec:

I'm applying as shadow but I'm really used to playing disc too and I prefer to play either shadow or disc because I more used to them and right now I think shadow with CoP build is fun.
my ilvl with 3 different sets I have for CoP , AS , and disc are by this order 732,729.730 .

well as a shadow priest there is 2 different build and 2 different rotations which are CoP and AS
CoP: this built is a very strong built for single target fights with some AOE with increased dmg of mindspike and insta mindblast and increased dmg on mindseer this built is the better choice for most of the fights at the moment .
this build priorities are mastery and then haste having the class trinket is mandatory .
rotation for this build is starting the fight with casting mindspike prepull and followed with a mindblast then stack up my class trinket debuff that increased my mindspells dmg for 53% and then go on mindspike and blast ( the prio spell is mindblast) and keep the debuff up at all time when I have  the shadow orbs I use a devouring plague and cast insanity and use mindblast when ever its off cooldown and also I use shadow fiend off CD but I still have to prio the mindblast and keeping the debuff up all the time. also I try to cast SW:D and SW:P on adds and extra targets to first get shadow orbs and second get the 15% dmg increase buff ( that comes from dealing dmg to targets bellow 35% ) . that is the basic rotation but the is more to it from fight to fight but I want to keep this short.
A.S : this build is the one is more like the image ppl have about shadow priest the old doting class . it is really similar with what shadow priests were back in MoP . the basic rotaion is to keep SW:P on all the targets and use DP when ever I have the shadow orbs also having a weak aura that shows howmany shadow apprentices ( those shadow missiles) are on the air traveling toward the target helps alot kz you have to know howmany shadow orbs you are going to gain in the next few seconds. with this build mostly I get mindbender over insanity and use it when ever its ready.
The start prio for this build is crit and then haste. and this build is the build I go with for multi target fights.
I play with CoP and AS but my gears are mostly suited for CoP ( mastery base and also the trinkets)
CoP : the cop is really strong on single target fights and its the only place that shadow priests can shine and be able to deal some dmg compare to others and most of the HFC fights are better suited for CoP the disadvantages of CoP is having week cleaving and multi target dmg and also being really week on target switching due to having to channel mindflay for 5 stacks of class trinket debuff.
A.S : A.S is good for multi target fights Ideally fights with having the targets standing away from each other not stacked . such as council,xhul,and beastlord darmak the disadvantages of this build is having week single target dmg and no burst at all.



Alts:

well I dont have any actually until the guild needs me to for example during BRF my guild needed me to have an alt healer ( kz I was disc atm ) so I had a mistweaver monk but nowdays I only play brewmaster with it to tank some dungeons . but for the next expansion Im leveling a druid to play boomkin/resto with  ( and the reason is now that Im shadow/disc its logical to have my alt with the same role )

Professions:

tailoring and enchanting and I back then I thought its the best proffs for a raiding disc priest to have.

Raiding Experience:

I started to play the game in end of WoTLK and only did some casual pvp and questing then . and started to raid with a guild during rage of firelands so Im going to mention all the bosses I killed on their tier bellow.
FL : 4/7 HC
DS : 8/8 HC on 10% nerf
first mop tier : was banned back then
ToT : just came back from break and after grinding xp and rep I only killed 4 HC before SoO were released.
SoO : 14/14 HC 10 man while being healing officer
HM : 6/7 mythic before BRF was released also tons of progression on mar'gok and made it to cho'gal but never killed it.
BRF : 5/10 mythic with around world 300 ranking before I take a break
I took break mid BRF and when I came back I transferred back to kazzak to help form a guild with a bunch of ppl I met online.
after that guild did not make it I took another break so after coming back I played casually till now that Im actively looking for a guild to get prepared for legion .
I played a bit of resto shaman but 90% of my raiding experience was with my priest.

Previous Guilds:

In my years of experience in wow I have been in a lot of guilds so I'm going to the guilds worth mentioning.
Rising sun@twisting nether : I did not leave this guild I just got banned kz of new US sanctions banning all Iranians.
Mental insanity : disbanded
RnG : left the guild ( because of two reasons , we were raiding 6 nights a week at the time while the raid times were 4 having 2 extra days each week and also having a huge roster of almost 40 people made me to leave the guild and join another with similar progress.
transcend@silvermoon : I have been forced to take a break for few months so there was no point for them to keep me
zoctai : this guild was formed by a group of ex hardcore players and me with the goal of reaching kazzaks top 10 ranks and world 250 but after few weeks of raiding we could not get the roster we wanted and recruiting didn't go as planned so we announced the disband.
The rest I was in were not the guild that I joined as a raider.

Availability:

Well as Im studying atm at the end of semesters I am really busy but so far I could make it to raids and study for exams in the past and I plan to continue do the same.

Communication:

All of those questions have the same answer yes and yes and yes.

Computer / Connection:

Yes I recently ( few weeks ago ) bought a new gaming computer that can wow on ultra graphics easily . no I dont have any FPS issues ATM . and about the internet connection, to define high ping I have to say for a person who raids from Iran having 60 MS is an impossible dream while I have 70-85 MS most of the times . I have one the most stable and expensive internets you can buy in Iran but at the end of the day Iranian Internet is not good at all. and no I dont get disconnected more than any 1 else.

Addons/UI:

the addons I use are listed bellow :
weakauras :I use this addon to keep an eye on my distance from healers, keeping track of my class trinket debuff on the target , remaining cooldown of some of my spells, how many shadowy apparitions I have mid air , my procs , also most of boss mechanics in HFC .
bigwigs : the boss timer and boss mode
exersus raid tools : this addon has many uses such as assigning positions or raid note . also the beam on archi.
I use shadow unit frame and dominus for my UI and tidy plates for enemy plates and also treat tracking .
and any other kind of addon that guild requires me to have such as loot distribution addons or angry assignments .
also Skada and GTFO .

Other Games:

I play some single player games such as dying light or CoD but the other game I play after wow is DOta 2 and I have reached 5.3k mmr when I was at my pick of dota gaming now Im 4.5k .

Why Iron Edge?

The answer is simple I'm looking for a decent guild to raid with and your is a good. your raid times maches me . and I think in this guild I can show what Im made of .
I'm looking to be in a team that I can give my best and be appreciated as a fellow raider .and on the plus side your guild has been around for some time now and I am tired of guilds that get disbanded over a patch Im looking for a guild with some history . that means the officers and GM are experienced and they know what they are doing.

What can I offer Iron Edge?

I'm a fast learner and I can coupe with mechanics and other players really good and also if you are looking for a guy who can play his class on any spec , can be trusted with extra tasks during raid such as dealing with branded or soaking or keeping the eye . etc , and also on the plus side I have raided with guilds with similar progress before so I think getting back to my A game is just a matter of being in a competitive raiding environment . putting that all aside I really would love to have a TS interview too to explain any thing that you find unclear or strange .

Hi Absolot,

Thank you for your very detailed application, it's always nice to see someone put some real effort into it.

Unfortunately I don't really see how we can fit another priest into our current roster. The raid is progressing on the final stage of Archimonde right now and we already have more people than we can fit.

I don't know how many members of the team will lose interest after we've killed Archimonde, but right now I'm not able to give you a guaranteed raid spot.

That might change in a couple of weeks though, so I'll update this thread if the situation changes in the near future. Of course you are always welcome to join our guild as a social, but I suspect you want to raid.
