Class/Spec:

I mainly play Frost currently but i can play all 3 mage specs. My gear is decent for all three specs, however due to a short break at the start of legion i lack a few vital legendaries for each. i'm working hard to fix that but i can't really say i have an offspec as i'm just gearing all specs to play depending on the fight. Some Bosses favor different specs at the exception of maybe arcane currently but that could change. I currently have 54 traits in frost 52 arcane and 51 in fire.

For Frost the stats to go for are Crit to 33% - Haste - Verse - Mastery. as far as rotation goes i usually open with:
- Pre Pot Prolonged Potion
- Pre cast Ebonbolt on Pull
- Flurry with Brain freeze Proc
- Cast Icy Veins
- Frozen Orb
- Ice Lance with Fingers of Frost
- While Ice Veins and Timewarp or up with Brain Freeze Proc
- Ice Lance with Winters Chill Debuff Blink and Ice Lance again (With Icy Veins + Timewarp)
- Then Just Prio FoF procs BF procs
- Glacial Spike (if i've taken it)
- Frostbolt Filler and repeat

For Fire and Arcane its been a while since i have raided with the spec but the stat prios are

Fire - Crit - Haste - Mastery - Verse

I'm not 100% on the rotation for fire but based on the spec it would probably go

- Precast Pyro
- Rune of Power
- Combustion
- Phoenix Flames
- Pyro
- PF
- Pyro
- Fire Blast
- Pyro Etc.

Arcane i've honestly not read up too much on. i think the prio is like Verse - Crit - Haste - Mastery

Can't really speak for the rotation i'm afraid.

Alts:

I have a 110 Paladin called Cephty and a 110 Hunter called Nephee.

Professions:

I currently have Alch and Herb mainly for Pots and Flasks for raids. Not sure if i have any cool recipes but i have rank 3 on the pots and flasks i use

Raiding Experience:

I Started playing in late TBC and cleared BT and MH,Cleared pretty much all content up to the end of SsO. In WoD i started to play casual as my life became a bit more hectic. I actually stopped playing at the start of WoD and returned at the end of Hellfire Citadel only able to clear Hc. I had to take a small break at the start of legion also after Clearing Hc Emerald nightmare and a few bosses on Mythic due to emigrating to the US. I returned back to the game during Nighthold and have managed to clear that on hc but seeing as i had missed so much it was nearly impossible for me to get into Mythic runs. So far in Tomb i have cleared 8/9 Normal.

I have mainly Raided as a Ranged dps throughout my wow Career with several different classes at a high level. I've Cleared everything Mainly as a Mage, but also on Hunter and Ele Shaman. I have also played Tanks in the past when i was a raid leader back in MOP due to a few core players quitting.
 

Previous Guilds:

Sound - Guild Disbanded at the beginning of WoD
Issues with tissues - Had to quit due to moving abroad.
Reincarnated - I am just a social here as my friend raids here and i usually just join there runs when they require and extra players or just pug with their alts.

Availability:

As i'm a student currently i'm usually available whenever, however the semester has just started and that could be subject to change but unfortunately i wont know that until later.

Communication:

Yes i speak English and i have Teamspeak 3, I also have a mic and can speak if needed.

Computer / Connection:

My Computer is fine i never really get FPS issues. My ping due to being in the US is about 195ms but i don't tend to notice any lag. Unfortunately we do have some bad storms here but fingers crossed its never caused my net to go down but it can cause some slight lag at times.

Why Iron Edge?

I am looking to join a guild that doesn't raid so many days but is very focused when they do. I am a dedicated player and work hard to be the best i can. I'm hoping that Iron Edge will provide a friendly home with competitive raiding environment.

What can I offer Iron Edge?

I believe i can offer Iron Edge as dedicated raider than can provide great dps and hold his own amongst the rest of the raid team. i'm also not afraid to offer any tactical advice to the raid if i think we could do something different on a progress boss most likely after the raid as i feel it can disrupt a raid midway if you try and change things or class advice if anyone requires it.

Pretty decent app, but I wanna know where you're from and why you moved to the US. 195 MS is pretty substantial, you certainly raised my eyebrow when you said you hardly noticed it. Can you comment on that at all?

So i'm originally from the UK but my wife is from the USA. So we decided earlier this year that we would move after what was quite a long immigration process. In the UK i was use to 26ms so i realise that 195ms seems quite high but it has never stopped me performing in raids, dungeons etc. This situation isn't ideal but isn't also a permanent one for us. As we live quite far away from the city we don't have the best internet service we could but we are hoping to move further into town later this year. unfortunately it can hinder other games like League of Legends and PUGBs at times but wow servers seem to handle it well. You also may know that quite a few US/Candian players play on EU at a high Level like Slootbag being an obvious example with similar ping i think its purely just the distant from the servers.

Why blink?

Basically blinking enables me to Double Ice Lance which is the method of fitting 2 Ice Lance into the Winter's Chill debuff applied from a instant cast Flurry proc (Brain Freeze proc). This also requires us to stand closer to the boss than you may be used to to offset the travel time of the Ice Lance themselves. Otherwise the 2nd ice would hit after the flurry proc causing it to not crit and hit as if the target was not frozen. This is only possible at a certain haste threshold so usually only when icy veins is up and timewarp. If u have enough haste u can do it with just icy veins or if u are a troll with the racial.

I know the double Ice Lance is a thing of the past at the moment, but was a huge boost to your DPS back in 7.2 (Which Blizzard don't like), which is why it is now reworked

Also, you were in Issues under Fluffy's domain? I've never been good with names, but I still have a really difficult time remembering yours from back then. :/ Did you join after Jana stepped down, or before?

Yes for a short period i was until i started to move. I think Fluffy also stopped raiding during that period or wasn't around as much, I think Jana had just stepped down when i started but due to my IRL stuff i had to stop for a while. You played mage back then right? Also yes they did try to remove it but it is still possible when you have all the haste buffs so it helps on initial burst but yea they have tried to stop it.

Decent application, and I appreciate that you provide logs of your previous boss kills. Unfortunately we are currently rocking a 3 mage combo, and going into mythic that will take up a substantial part of our raid.
