Well its more of a language barrier than proving your claims, you said 13 armour = 1 stamina, which obviously had everyone baffled, what you meant was 13 armour = 1 less damage taken per hit.

Which in summary doesnt mean armour increases your hp, it just reduces damage done to you, which im pretty sure everybody in the guild is already aware of. Regardless if you had 40k armour, having a low HP pool still wont save you, there are other things to take into account, like magic damage.

EDIT: Nvm i still have no clue what you are trying to show in your last post, and why would you drop below 540 defense? obviously you will get crit and ultimately 1 hit.

I did some testing on this talent with my 70 tankadin, and this is what I found:
If you are at or below the normal maxed-out defense skill for your level (ie. you have no defense gear), the heal will not proc and will not trigger the two-minute cooldown debuff.
If you have more than the normal amount of defense, any attack that would have killed you will instead be absorbed. This spell will then heal you for the difference between your current health and the amount given by the following formula (ie. if you are at 100 HP before the killing blow, and the formula gives 300 HP, you will be healed for 200).
The formula is: (amount of "extra" defense skill)*(your max HP)*(0.3 / 140)
If your HP before the killing blow is above the amount given by the formula, the attack will be absorbed but you will not be healed.
The heal can crit for 1.5 times the normal value, but this crit is NOT affected by Touched by the Light.
The heal is not increased by Divinity or Improved Devotion Aura.
Ardent Defender will not prevent or mitigate damage from falling, drowning or Chaos Bolt.

so when you are , say at 535 defense ( u are 400 by being a 80 thus have 135 extra defense)and have 45K hp you would get;

135*45000*(0,3/140)=13017 Healing, if you had 540 defense;

140*45000*(0,3/140)=13500 Healing.

I would also add that its the first time I ever  hear that napkin math is counted as a prove.

I remember leveling my paladin as a tank, and i had no defense gear at all until 70, yet my ardent defender still procced and gave me the 2min debuff, it just didnt heal for fuck all.

Its the same for prot ret pvpers, there ardent defender procs but it barely heals them or even nothing at all depending on there gear choice.

Yes + healing is like u writed there but u forgoting one thing?. 540 also crit cap.Thats why u cant go down from 540.if u go ok ur argent will proc lets say 8k and u got hit by target 18k crit.i dont think its worth to do like that.
And yea im still saying 13armor same like getting 1 hp.

I did not talked about going under the cap nor advised it just corrected your false statement about the talent and the proc. Other way around would be ridiculous anyway.

As you can see 11.7 armor = 1 stamina is for the sake of the equation and assumes infinite mana pool, even though we dont have much encounters stressing healers on mana, roughly having the equal damage on average can not save you from say so two consecutive hits following a parry or random spiky damage but stamina will.
