Costs: From your own post:
"- There is now a message telling players that the replacement for their final "Violet Signets" will cost 100 gold."

The point of flasks is for 2-hour elixir buffs. Flasks aren't meant to be 'omg, super buffs' any more, I think...

I think the mats are in-line with that.

Depends how stupidly expensive mana thistle will be after the patch, I guess.

Some massive changes. Some great playability changes too, like auto dismounting, 'x' letting you fly/swim down.

Some good PVP changes - curse of tongues/polymorph/ice block nerfs.

And yeah, yet more love for circle of healing... it's already pretty awesome. Bring on the more love! Still no clue how to use binding heal sadly...

Like the general changes, DESPISE the nerf train on all counts.

Imp sap on all rogues is <3

Shaman nerfs make me :'(

The flask nerf for fortification (I'm no expert on the others so won't give some useless opinion) is really silly. 500HP and 10 def rating (that's 0.5% avoidance) on a flask, versus 35 agility (just over 1% crit and 1% dodge as well as 70 armour) from a single elixir seems really wierd. Greater stoneshield pot is also now way way way better again than the flask. A flask that gives less than 50% of the hp that untalented commanding shout or talented PW:F is just pointless to bother farming in comparison to farming enough stoneshield to have pot up 100% of a fight.

I'm a little disappointed that Blizzard has included so many nerfs in a patch for so many things, or rather, some things that could easily be considered uncalled for nerfs.

I'd like to see some kind of scalable threat for warriors, as even before I consider a rage drought, my threat can never really increase from gear (actually decreases).

*** Warrior thangs section. Just small observations, nothing heavy or in depth, not worth analysing what for me are small changes. ***
For me, a slight buff (aside from commanding shout fix :() and devastate meets mutilate will be funny (although a total gimmick and no use to me in PvE as I don't grind mobs anyway and if I do I'll suck down the respec and back costs).

Really feeling sorry for the DPS/PvP warriors though, for a patch that was touted as going to have 'PvP fixes' for warriors, this is a real kick in the teeth, and a little uncalled for to say the least.

That said, I can see what they're going for with the enrage/deathwish thing; to end Mortal Strike/Deathwish build being the #1 PvP build all the time. That being said, I think I'm not the only one who feels that it would have been better to buff 41 point arms talent (Endless Rage) than to nerf the fury tree - but then this is nothing new, the same thing was done before to discourage MS/Enrage when they nerfed enrage's damage first and then also made it more suited to Dual Wielding via lower duration & more charges. As for the flurry nerf, I just don't get it, deep fury spec warriors were already considered somewhat inferior (albeit due to current itemisation mostly) to Arms spec overall.

I would for the first time genuinely believe that we'll see warrior population dropping; at least those who are not hardcore tanks.

Flask costs are being cut down to approx. 1/3 of their current mats. 7/3/1 instead of 30/10/1 . So they'll become quite cheap I assume.

I mean that since you now have a choice between flasks/elixirs, and for tanks elixirs are just superior, and nobody else is going to really use flask of fortification, it will be nigh on obsolete.

Just on your flask/stoneshield pot thing Kawe - you can flask up (or elixir up), and chug pots every 2 minutes.

Seems like the new strategy will just be to use pots every 2 minutes. Stoneshield/Ironshield for you, Destruction for casters, I think there's a physical dps one too.

Yup, indeed, I'll be elixir + potting. Just to re-iterate again though, I'm just observing that flask of fortification has become seemingly redundant.

Eye of Gruul

    * Old: When your mana drops below 20%, your next heal cast within 15 seconds costs -600 less mana.  There is a 1 minute cooldown on this effect.
    * New: Each healing spell you cast has a 2% chance to make your next heal cast within 15 seconds cost -450 less mana.

----Imba buff if u ask me just MAKE it Proc a lot ,hehe

Yep, I made a good investment last night... :)

But 2% is annoying - sometimes it will proc a lot, sometimes never... I hope I am lucky!

With the paladin nerf coming, it seems like we will no longer be the imba healers we used to be, 50% mana return instead of 100% when crit. Oh well, we had it coming I guess. This might even open doors for paladin tanks since their healing section got nerfed a bit. Moreover the protadins got buffed by a lot! Sad to see there ain't many PvE-raid improvements for Retri, unless I missed something.

Apart from the Paladin section I'd say I'm pretty pleased with the changes (nerfs). The flask nerf ain't too bad if you ask me, less time spent on farming herbs/gold makes it a lot easier for a raiding casual. We might be a little "weaker" when fully buffed, but the encounter will be tuned to it, and I see no reason why not to pot up for every single attempt for every new/hard encounter!

Another thing about the paladins: we no longer get mana from Spiritual Attumened when healed while being on Full HP, this is more a nerf than it looks! No more imba mana regen from shadowpriests/overheal etc.

It will no longer be rare to see a Paladin running low on mana, maybe we're more a tanking hybrid as druids did become.

Holy shield buffs are a nice bonus indeed for your mitigation. The Spiritual Attunement nerf isn't good for protadins I'd have thought though, being that currently overhealing (which will nearly always happen) allowed you to spam a bit more aggro I'd have thought without worrying about going oom on a longer fight? Still, I guess it maybe wasn't right that paladins were such incredibly imba heal0rz as well as being nigh on unkillable boss soloers, eh Inph  ;D
