Class/Spec:

I main holy priest and i'm currently ilvl 409.38 for my raid gear set.

Holy priest is a versatile healer that can even heal beyond the grave and provides a free combat res in encounters when talented into it (for both the priest and one other player).

We go for highest item lvl unless leech is involved and for raids we need mainly mastery, vers, crit (in that order).

The current meta talent build for holy priest looks like an AoE healing build but it is still heavily focused on single target healing.

We use prayer of mending and circle of healing on cooldown whilst using our holy words, serenity & sanctify to do massive healing to specific players or specific groups of players.

We then use heal as a filler and flash heal if the target would die if we didn't.

We have defensives that can be used very frequently, fade and desperate prayer; we have an ability called divine word we use every minute or so to boost certain healing we're about to do.

Our raid wide cooldowns are salvation and divine hymn -- divine hymn boosts the healer of all healers in the raid for 15 seconds.

We have a tank ability -- guardian spirit -- which can be used to save a target from death provided the damage is not ridiculously massive.

Our utility is grip (leap of faith) and symbol of hope (reduces the cooldown of a defensive depending on your class; also grants the priest mana).

We also have power infusion, mass dispell -- there's some other spells and abilities I haven't listed here but all in all that is how holy priest currently works

I personally try to do as much damage as possible in mythic boss fights and will only step in to heal if required.

I try and heal targets which would die if I didn't and once I am used to a healing team I can get used to how my other healers heal and which targets they are likely to pick first to heal when damage is happening.

I try not to heal myself as i'm very experienced playing at very low hp -- but this is also because most of my spells direct some healing back to myself and other healers tend to keep a watchful eye on other healer hp -- so for example if all 5 healers go to target one low hp healer that has wasted alot of healing (only one needed to target the low hp player) because of these reasons and because I can res myself if I die I tend to try and keep tanks and dps alive over everyone else.

Healing is an art -- there are many ways to heal a boss fight -- my two rules with healing are:

1.) Kill the boss

2.) Make sure everyone is alive

Professions:

I am alchemy + tailor.

I buy my pots on the AH and if I need a tailor I contact one in trade.

Raiding Experience:

I have 6 Cutting Edge achievements gained at mythic level most of those were gained at rank 365.

I've raided as high as rank 80 (Whatever-Auchindoun) and have had offers to raid as high as rank 40 (Honolulu-Sylvanas).

My notable achievements are:

Finished Legion as #1 total healing done for priest (for the west).

Finished Legion as #1 total ilvl for alliance priest and top #10 for ilvl for priest (also for the west).

I've been a healing officer in the past.

Previous Guilds:

<ChuckleVision> -- Guild disbanded because we could not find raiders who were experienced enough.

Every other guild i've been in I have only ever left due to not being able to make their raid times.

Availability:

I'm available Saturday nights and all day Sunday and Monday.

Communication:

I can speak English and I do have discord and a microphone.

Computer / Connection:

I do have a decent computer and my connection is very good.

The ping on kazzak is fine and I do not lag or disconnect.

BigWigs -- Boss timers and alerts.
GTFO -- Makes a sound when you are standing in something you shouldn't be.
Lib: GetFrame -- Allows some features for standard blizzard raiding frames.
Method Raid Tools -- To track raid CDs amongst many other things.
Quartz -- Castbar add on.
WeakAuras -- Self explanotary.
WIM -- WoW Instant Messenger is an IM style window for whispers.
ElvUI -- UI overhaul.
RETabBinder -- To prevent tab targeting of pets in PvP.

Why Iron Edge?

I'm looking for a guild that is between 2/8 - 5/8 that raids on either Saturday, Sunday or Mondays.
